Buddy is a miniature blue heeler (any heeler at or less than 14" to shoulder) with a blue merle coat BUT... you can still see her red in stripes and spots. About 30 pounds, she is an excellent travel companion, not too big and not too small.

The wheaten/husky... how’s that hair/fur mix? I have a 100% wheaten due to allergies. Love my wheaten because it is hair and doesn’t shed, but curious because huskies are known for their shedding.

His fur is mostly like a wheaten, except the undercoat. He does shed, but not a lot. We have to take him for trimmings or his facial fur will grow really long. This is how we keep him in the summer.

My current two are 10 (Bentley) and 7 (Grumman), hard to see Grumman the black one, he's much more reserved on trips. But Bentley, the blonde one, he literally waits at the door every single day waiting to go when he sees me putting on shoes and grabbing keys, for his entire 10 years ha. Luckily my job is flexible enough I can often take them with me.

Both Lady and my son love riding in the JT.
We lost our two huskies over the last few years. They were 14 and 15. It’s difficult losing them. I only made it a month before I decided to bring Lady home.
