Do you think this Genright stubby will fit my Mojave?

So, I’m in search of a good aluminum bumper that is very light weight before my trip this summer. I have a rock hard bumper on my Rubicon LJ, and was going to get one on the JT. I have confirmed with them that it will fit the Mojave, but their lead time is 8 weeks, which is firmly in the middle of my trip. I have found this genright stubby bumper, and I contacted them about it and told them what I had. They seemed optimistic that it would fit, BUT could not say for sure...I have attached a couple of pictures from the website and I think it might fit, but I want more opinions before I try to be a guinea pig.

I don’t think the remote reservoirs hang any lower than the electronic sway disconnect on the Rubicon...but again, that is an opinion. For those of you that have Mojaves or have experience with them, what do you think?

I think you'll be fine. You might have to notch the stock Mojave skid plate just a bit depending on how it lines up with the bumper, but that's simple enough.

OK, I pulled the trigger. I will be the Guinean Pig on this one. I also found some KC Highlighters LED Fog lights that plug into the stock switch with an adapter I will order, so we will see!

I'm watching this for sure. I hope it fits as I really enjoy Genright quality and the huge weight difference of aluminum vs steel. Just out of curiosity could you weigh everything when you get it? Are you getting one with a winch plate or no winch?

I’ve seen a published weight of 20 pounds. With the winch plate it is definitely heavier than that though. I don’t have any way to weigh it, sorry:/. I do believe the bumper itself only weighs 20 points though, as I can hardly tell I’m carrying it. It’s at the powdercoaters right now.

OK, so here’s what I get for being the guinea pig. The genright does not fit the Mojave. The crash bar where the remote reservoirs are mounted would have to come off.

You going to try to make it fit? Can you trim any of the bumper to make it work?

I could cut off the protection that extends from the bottom of the bumper back off, and it would fit, but then the area behind it that’s protected now, wouldn’t be. So, I don’t think I’m going to try to make it fit.
