Just picked up a soft top yesterday. Cant wait to get it on. If anyone in a hardtop truck give me any shit about the “man bun” look I will smile and be happy that I’m still the one driving away in a CONVERTIBLE TRUCK.

I contacted the email on their Suntop USA page and was told they have some getting here early next month. It was $965 + shipping. I honestly should ask them if I could pick it up since it appears I live less than 15 miles from them (via their online map)

I was topless all the time with my JK and soft top. I went with a hardtop because I wasn’t sure how my little girl would like it. Now she is old enough to enjoy the hard top off. I’m not a fan of taking it on and off, so.....It’s soft top time!

Similar to a hard top with freedom panels? If that's the case, think about opening the rear window? I drive like this often, but all windows down/open all the way. No buffeting.

Yep,there is no way a soft top is quieter than a HardTop, zero chance. I get no buffering in mine with the hardtop on and freedom panels removed and windows down with the rear glass open. Also with both of them on, not even close.

Still cheaper than $2k for factory style, so I'm still very interested. I like the look.

I put my soft top on for the first time 2 weeks ago. It’s awesome. Easy to open and close and if it looks funny I can’t see it while I’m driving. I haven’t taken the back window out yet but I’m guessing that’s the only PIA. I’m happy though

Hahaha, just messing with ya!!! But really my JKU and CJ stayed wet, wife couldn't stand it. She said if I do this one like that, consider it my last. We will see

Interesting conversation... I have both (factory) tops, hard for the winter, soft for the summer. I haven't noticed much difference in sound. The soft top is easy to open and close and I got the bag for the rear corners and window. Does it look dorky, yep, but lets face it, Jeeps aren't meant to be pretty.

I love my soft top and have it open most of the time, however my kids, or anyone in the back seat, kinda hate it. It catches the wind and redirects everything straight down into the rear cab.

So traded my Sport S for a Mojave yesterday. I LOVE the Mojave

The 6spd is smooth. The ride is fantastic...
Now, about the soft top

You're f*****g kidding me, right? What drug addled brain did this thing come from??? Easily the most horrendous contraption I've ever seen. Unsightly, loud as hell when in the 'bad rug' position, and, apparently, the only game in town for soft tops.
Please point me to any other soft top options! Or someone save me with a hardtop (can't find a single one for sale). I have a like new softop, cash and desperation!

I think the JL version is $3995.00 with free shipping. I have no idea how much the JT will be. If you want a soft top with no electronics I would look at bestop I'm looking at their sunrider which is affordable but it only replaces the freedom panels it's not whole open concept like the mytop
