hot air coming from behind glove box

My 2021 has been intermittently releasing hot air on manual a/c with record OFF. My recirc has now been on for 1 hour without hot air…

give it time. It’ll do it both ways. Mine has even done it every 10 minutes for a full two hours drive. It’s awful. Especially in hot/humid Florida.

Mine does it also. It is more prevalent and frequent on hot and humid days like yesterday. We went from Tampa to Orlando to see my son and it happened every 10-15 minutes on the way there AND back regardless of whether it was on max/recirc/fresh air settings. Manual HVAC on 2020 Sport S. Hoping a solution comes soon. My trip to Illinois at the end of the month is gonna be a blast for my fiancé on the passenger side! Yikes!

I’ve been waiting for a solution since November 2019. I’m not optimistic.

Apply this one too while they’re at it—for failed ESS battery impeding ability to crank engine. This TSB bypasses the secondary battery if too low or dead. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/attachments/jeep-tsb-18-092-19-pcm-ess-pdf.423436/
