Love the JT, awesome truck and enjoying it daily to this day. That being said the worst part is the sheer amount of low end companies a Jeep owner has to deal with on a daily if you want to make any upgrades at all. . In the beginning it was the problems dealerships gave on getting the TSB done, which thankfully resolved with a great dealership about 40 minutes away. I have dealers 10 minutes away and cannot use them as they offer an abrasive experience. I ordered shocks from Shock Warehouse 3 or 4 weeks ago, no response, no phone nothing. I returned non functioning headlights to Headlight Revolution and they are holding back refund for 2 weeks. I have over a grand out now on smaller items with no parts and less communication. Who has time to deal with companies like that? So now every time I want to make an upgrade, I have to do research to see if the company is legit or even operating normally.

Supply chain issues aren’t helping. I’m starting to believe that stuff is fake news somewheRe in the chain. Big bucks to be made when you have limited inventory.
This all day long it seems. Most likely only going to get “more “ challenging.

There are a lot of really great companies out there. Some really good local shops as well. They are out there ....keep doing the homework.

Patience is a must right now.

Interesting concept. Especially when I had the dealer tell me the injector pump is out until December...which at this point means indefinitely with no real eta. When I contacted allmoparparts. They said 5 days for them to get. WTF!?

Thinking more into this, imagine how this messes up warranties. Waiting with truck out of commission on parts due to "supply chain" wink wink and eating up warranty at the same time. Perhaps FCA should add warranty time to however long it takes to get parts in at the very least.

Although they did tell me there will be talk of some type of compensation. Not sure what it will be. Lots of possibilities. Guess I'll find out when is all is said and done.

I can say that Headlight Revolution is a standup company.
Sorry you are having problems.

Nope. I work in the non-automobile supply chain. But I'm sure automotive is just the same. The supply struggle is not fake, and is highly frustrating. We have customers pissed off on one end, sales folks pissed off in the middle of everything, and production pissed off on the other side. The worst part is sales folks thinking we can capitalize when our competitors can't make stuff, so they go after their business. But if our competitors can't get the right supplies, why could we? Every time we make one step of progress forward, something important runs out, and we take 5 steps the wrong way. There's no money to be made in limiting supply, so it's doing nothing but killing profits.

Overhead can't be covered if we can't get stuff. This is costing the industry big time. We can't get many supplies, and the few we can get are wanting price increases. But, of course, no customer is willing to pay for that price increase. Logistics is not a fun industry right now. There are no friends to be made, that's for sure.
The problem is everything shut down. Stuff that's planned literally over a year out, and we had to base forecasting on that. Or else we'd have had a warehouse full of stuff that no one would be buying, and therefore no income, and no way to pay for it. So to re-allocate these resources now is taking a while to get the wheels running.

This is a no win situation for everyone.

My career works primarily with manufacturing and production facilities.
The biggest problem I hear of is getting the people to work the shifts. They may have the demand and supplies, but they can't hire enough people to fill the jobs.
It seems that EVERY plant has a "Now Hiring" sign out front.

That's a major problem for us too. The items that are in stock are having a hard time getting out the door because there's no one to ship them at the warehouse. We'll get there, but it's not going to suddenly go back to business as usual.

I'm not saying you are wrong, BUT, I have a couple grand worth of parts on order through several suppliers and they are ALL feeling the pinch. Waiting on the last 6 items, axle shafts from 2 different suppliers (FR) diff covers, rock rails, etc all from different vendors. Took 2 months to get wheels/tires.
Ended up switching vendor once I saw someone else had stuff in stock. Finally got lift/wheels/tires/gears done. Fingers crossed I get everything before Moab in 2 months.
