No city life for me - not even small town if I can avoid it. Gotta have free, wide open spaces, lots of trees and a big yard.

you’ve got a decent climate to boot. You don’t even have fire ants! ?

Frisco has blown up with new businesses. Pretty cool having the Cowboys training facility (The Star) so close too. They've built a great development around that. Restaurants, hotels, etc. The local high schools get to use the indoor training field for some of their games too.

This is the city I live in - Frisco, not Jerry world. ? I've lived here since 1993, seen Frisco grow up from a sleepy little town to a bustling metropolis of it's own. I sure wish I had owned that land that Jerry bought about 25 years ago.

Same here. Been here since '96. Remember when Preston Road was a 2-lane road at Hwy 121?

Rattle snakes, coyotes, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, wasps, yellow jackets.............
The climate is sort of ok - except in the summer like today where the humidity is oppressive and the dew points very close to the actual temperature.

We'll gladly ship our fire ants to anyone who like to be their foster parents. I hate those $%@#'ers.
Hey, now that’s thinking! We just need to start running them suckers across the Canadian border every summer until we turn them all into popsicles!

Haha :CWL: Yeah I remember that well, in fact I got a ticket on that version of Preston Road (hwy 289) in '91 or so for speeding, I was turned around trying to put a pacifier in my son's mouth and wasn't paying attention to how fast I was going.

My grandparents lived in Gunter and my dad would scoot up 289 to get there. I always knew we were in the country when I saw the Frisco Coons raccoon on the water tower there at Main Street. They just took that water tower out last year, I was really sad to see it go.

At this point I am the secondary-OP I think bringing up TX. Still don't know if I'm terrified of it or more excited to consider it as an option at this point.

I I know this is kinda off topic but....do yall think these temps are "okay" cause in my gasser the temps would be at around 200 for both the coolant and oil,but in my new ecodiesel i was just cruising around town and on the freeway it got worse coolant was at 219 and oil teml was at 231 but it was 102 outside in texas ,and I'm not even pedal to the metal,I drive like I actually want the truck to last for a while.....cause I do want it to last a while  but yeah I'm not sure if these temps are too good,I'm planning on just putting on a cold case aluminum radiator and wait for the market to make an oil cooler
