I did have to cut the filler piece to get it back on over the brackets. I did not use the template sent with the brackets. I measured and made the holes just big enough to fit over the brackets.

Yes, I kept all the pieces and reassembled it after installing the brackets. I did not throw anything away.

I installed the mopar ones on my truck with Baja designs XL lights. They are thicker than the KC slim by a lot.

I helped a friend put the quadratec mount with KC pro6 lights. They fit just fine probably about the same as the slim.

Having installed both If I did it again, I would wait for the quadratec ones on back order… way easier and you can mount them in more than 1 location so you can change it later.
