Also, in FL, the sun and heat get brutal, especially with the humidity. Soft top is nice due to easier opening up front if wanna catch rays for a Lil bit, then easily close once ur a tomato. Hard top gotta stop, remove, store, stop, pull out, replace, continue. Doesn't take all terribly long but, we humans are lazy ass animals.
I, personally, and like many others, am disgusted by the factory soft top. Don't like the way it humps to the rear, and when fully open don't like the man bun profile. I would be just fine being able to open the front half and removing the rear panel and all doors. This would still provide protection while being mostly free.
Also, the front portion on this top when folded back lays flat, not catching air or causing drag. And doesn't hump to the back.. A much better and cleaner design overall, IMO.
If the cost is too much, then I'll just stick to the hard top with sunrider front piece and be done.
