Curious if you ended up installing this bumper. I'm considering it as well.
I did, install was fairly easy. No modification was needed to the skid plate. I liked the look and it's pretty solid and beefy. I'm very pleased and recommend!Curious if you ended up installing this bumper. I'm considering it as well.
Looks Great! Thanks for the photos as well .. A solid stubby that clears the skid plate which is what I was looking for .. Factory fog lights?I did, install was fairly easy. Yes, factory fog lights install straight into it.Looks Great! Thanks for the photos as well .. A solid stubby that clears the skid plate which is what I was looking for .. Factory fog lights?
It comes with a backplate that bolts on the backside. It's silver but you can paint any color you want before attaching, obviously I did the orange....Based on your recommendation, and the fact they are in Cleveland, I bought the Immortal F2. Glad to hear install is easy as I'm no mechanic! BTW, how did you get the color insert? I only saw white and no place to request something different. thanks!
Thanks much for the install advice! Looking forward to getting it and putting it on. I asked them but how long did it take to receive the bumper? Did you purchase anything else from them?It comes with a backplate that bolts on the backside. It's silver but you can paint any color you want before attaching, obviously I did the orange....
Curiously though the 2 small nuts that attach it didn't come included, luckily I had the right size on-hand so no problem. There's 2 studs on the back side that the plate slips over and attaches with 2 nuts, but not sure what size. May have been packing issue, but no complaints since I was very pleased with the bumper.
2 issues that made install take a little longer than normal:
1) Removing the fog lamps and fishing out the wiring harness from the stock bumper was not fun. It was manageable but took a while since I didn't want to damage it in case of reinstalling later or selling.
2) The green thread protecting tape on the bumper attach studs (4 each side). I at first assumed it was threadlocker tape and kept trying to start the threads laying on my back with the bumper on. After a while I figured out the tape of course needed to be removed....Duh.
Make sure you have a good socket set with some extensions to make it easier.
Congrats on your purchase, no regrets from me, love it everyday.
I think it took about 2 weeks. Looking back I ordered on 2/13 and had pictures of it installed on 3/5. I haven't purchased anything else from them yet...Thanks much for the install advice! OMG, that was so bloody funny! Needed that.....cheers! I'll check the install video and while I already bought it, that video would have put me over the top to buy tooI think it took about 2 weeks. If you go to the Immortal F1 product page on their website, they have a very good install video on the video tab. Not on the F2 page though for some reason. Should be exactly the same (stubby vs. mid-width bumper is the only difference I see)
If you haven't seen this video, check it out, I thought it was pretty funny, sold me on the purchase...

Now I'm thinking of getting a skid plate as well. Rear bumper later....OMG, that was so bloody funny! Needed that.....cheers! I'll check the install video and while I already bought it, that video would have put me over the top to buy too![]()
Is the bumper touching the grill? It appears to be in this photo. I will add washers for some space if needed. Picking one up next time a sale is offered ..I did, install was fairly easy. Factory skid plate, bolts up fine with clearance to bumper. I was looking at their skid plate also but didn't specify if it fit Mojave's unique skid plate.I'm a Newb....is that the factory skid plate on there or something else? Unsure if I should spend the extra money and get their skid plate.
Must be the angle of the picture, there's about 10mm clearance at the end where it looks like it's touching. Closest touch point is 3mm at the center, but seems like plenty. Is the bumper touching the grill? It appears to be in this photo. I will add washers for some space if needed.
