Not a good feeling...It happened to mine about 15 times. I always took it to the dealer with the steering out. It's hard to drive it like that but I live very close to the dealer...I didn;t want to deal with "We couldn't reproduce it" so I delivered it to them "produced". The fourth time I took it in"produced" they kept it and worked with me to get in a new one. Over time it began to happen much more often. They never figured out what the problem was and they tried several things to fix it but no luck. Good luck and be safe...I did not have to lemon it, Chrysler business department was very easy to work with as was my dealer. Against my wife's better judgement, I just got got my replacement about a month ago.
I’m going through the same situation now with mine. It has happened 5 times with the latest incident last night coming home from work. The previous time it faulted (11/17), I was able to take it to a dealer with the fault light on but it didn’t show any codes so they ordered a new power steering pump which hasn’t arrived yet. This is very frustrating as it happens intermittently. I had to drive 36 miles last night with it faulted, it’s not an easy task.

Did the pump resolve your issues? My 2022 is exp this and the dealers are clueless. Mine does not throw a code.

My 2022 (1200 miles) just did the same. On the highway with my wife driving, she was forced into the lane next to her and luckily there was no car in that lane. It scared her enough to where she isn't using the car. Also my first time posting here ?.

So, went to drive off from a parking spot and I noticed the steering felt super heavy as in my power steering wasn't working!!! I had to really turn the wheel to get it to turn. As I stopped at a stop sign, I turned off the truck and turned it back on and that did the trick. Has anybody else experienced this?
Mine just did it this weekend, I have a 2022 Overland. I got into a parking lot and shut it off and when I started it back up it was normal.

My 2022 Rubicon with 6900kms did something odd yesterday,
left home no issues, drove couple blocks to highway exit then couple KMs down the highway then all of a sudden steering started to feel heavy. drove for a good distance until I came to a stop at a intersection and the problem appeared to go away. No lights nothing.
