Okay probably a noob/ignorant question, but...
I have a JTRD and found a crazy deal on nito 37s & 17" Fuel wheels with 5k miles on them from FB marketplace, I really was going to wait and do 35s after the 33s were done... anyways they are on looks great and no rubbing.
I have always been bottoming out like most others with the diesel and was trying to wait for the jeep fix before I do many changes. also know this is mostly a daily driver, but we go camping and some fairly minor off-road in Kentucky/Tennessee... The 33s and stock suspension did fine for what I need.
So here's my dilemma: 37s will rub on some off-road flex... I pretty sure 2" spacer lift would help with that, but wouldn't the fender chop too? Any pro or cons between the two? Am I going to some how keep jeep from fixing the bottoming out issues with any upgrades? Am I being too cheap and should go with a real lift and forget about all that?
What advice would you give someone who has 4k miles on their first jeep?
Thanks for any input!

Also maybe another question... They have tpms sensors but I think I'm running into the issue where the are before the mid 2021 change and my jeep was built after. Is there a way to fix that in the computer or replacement is the only fix?

Ali Mansour got away with a 1" front spacer and bump stop to comfortably run 37s off road on a stock Rubicon. You may need a little more for the diesel. Personally, I'd go spacer until whole suspension lift. Fender chop may be the easiest and cheapest but it's also permanent.

As far as TPMS goes, you'll need to replace with the correct sensors.

I vote fender chop for the time being. I would also invest in the American Adventure Lab fender chop DTRL, they look a lot better then the current chunky DTRL on the JL.
