Stock Mojave’s or Rubicons look fine. I hated and still loved my stock Sport Max Tow but going into the purchase, I knew mods were going on very soon. I don’t knock on stock Gladiators because not everyone wants to mod theirs.

From when I first got it to now. Changed a lot of parts!

White and black is a great combo. I appreciate the look of yours when it was stock and think it looks good, but really like the look and the choices you made to add to it. Great looking truck!

I don’t know that I would use the term ugly, that seems a little harsh. I do think all Jeeps look better lifted with bigger tires because of the size and shape of the wheel well/fender combo.

I am with you. I think it's goofy looking stock. My Overland was anyway. I didn't even like the Gobi color. They had two and both were Gobi. But, when the salesman pulled it around, I saw it with red accents and bigger tires. I thought it would be tolerable but I actually love it. I have sold my trucks after two years since 2005 and bought something new. Ive had this JT for 2.5 years. I am going to pay it off. I love this thing.

Here's a fun one...

1) Would you rather have a stock Colorado or stock Ranger compared to a stock Gladiator?

#2) Is a stock Ranger or a stock Colorado better looking then a stock Gladiator? I don't look but it may be and you all might all chime in. All base model 4WD with 4 doors??
What about option #3)

Most car companies will give ya some goodies on their base models. Jeep will make you know you were being cheap and mess with you accordingly. Gonna give ya roll up windows, no tints, Honda Civic tires and a Nokia phone screen as a radio.

I should have known this would be a hot topic. I didn’t mean to poke the bear.

Guess I should have used a different term.

My wife said it was like a woman that needs make up. While a girl might not be ugly she needs a little make up to be Smoken Hot

I wasn't a big fan of my Jeep when I bought it (Sport S), but I saw the potential and that persuaded my decision to buy it. Even my wife would tell me my tires just looked too small and it didn't look right.

I traded my stock 2016 Colorado Z71 for my new JT. I absolutely loved the looks of that truck but what it (and most other brands) lack is the character the Jeeps have. They basically all look the same, except for the JT. And the availability of mods is not even on the same field as you can get for the Jeep brands. There is just something nostalgic about our JT's that no other truck manufacturer can claim. I believe that is an unconscious draw to this style of truck. I'll admit I wasn't crazy about the first JT's I seen when they were introduced but then I started noticing some with mods. That's when they really started getting my attention. Bottom line, it's a cool truck that definitely looks different and fills the need to not look like everything else on the market. I remember back in the 90's when Ram came out with the redesigned truck with the drop down front fenders. Reminded me of a semi truck. That design redefined the looks of pickups and most manufacturers started getting creative with their designs as a result. I hope they don't all start looking like JT's so we can remain unique in a saturated market.

I had a random taco guy walk up to me in the parking lot and tell me how the stock JTs look like ass, but liked how I modded mine. Hahaha. So random.
You drive a taco in previous life?
Traded my 2021 Taco TRD Pro for my Gladiator Rubicon. No looking back, love the lockers!

MY issue is this. We are going to use our sport s max tow to tow a 6000 lb travel trailer around the country off the beaten path for dispersed camping and boondocking. Mods, larger tires, metal bumpers and winches add weight and affect the towing I want to do. I drool on the mods, but really need as much of the stock sport s as possible for the towing and cargo, etc.

So how does one avoid their gladiator from looking like a total stock turd but keep the purpose we have it for? It cannot negatively affect the towing.

Suggestions welcome.
Do all the shit under the hood and inside the cab. Turbo is a good start up front..... Tint all the way around.
