Hardtop removal with automotive lift

I’m looking for ideas on how to use an automotive lift to take the hardtop off. I was lucky enough to buy a house last year with a detached garage that had a 10k lift in it. Trust me it was a clincher in putting an offer in! Anyone out there use a lift to assist with hardtop removal? I’m sure I can come up with a way to do it and have some ideas but just seeing if anyone out there has already done some trial and error. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
