That is a flip down step to access the roof of the truck or, if equipped, a roof rack.

Thank you. Still need to put super charger. I have the flat tubular fender flares at LineX and the rear inner fender flares need to be installed. I'm very excited about learning what others are doing with their Gladiators.

Those are very cheap door hinge steps. I ordered different door hinge steps that are powder coated and better quality.
