You’ve got my interest.
I got the price from Realtruck and its a fantastic price. I'm still working my wife who is still smarting over a $4000 cap that I put on the truck a month ago.

A nice purse from Coach or LV might help soothe things.

My wife approves (likes, not allows) of all my hobbies, so no problem there. :like:

My wife is fine with firearms and airplanes. Actually she didn't have much choice, I was into both of them when I met her and she'd have been gone if she tried to change me.

But the Jeep was actually a purchase that she encouraged. And quite frankly we have savings goals that we are trying to meet so that we can retire at a certain age. She keeps me grounded. Her point is that she doesn't think that if I get a soft top I'll actually take it off very often,. That and we don't really have anywhere to put the hard top.

Got it on today. Initial thoughts - love the look. I think it looks way better than the style of the OEM top. Install was all ok until the rear portion - a lot of Velcro and straps. The very large rear window is fairly easy to take out but like others have said, taking the whole rear portion apart and folding it up is doable but not quick and easy. When there’s a stretch of nice weather I will for sure but otherwise I’m good with the fast back front and taking rear window out. I’ll post some more pics tomorrow.

So it was only about 65 here but what I did was laid out all the vinyl and window pieces in the garage then surrounded them with a few space heaters for a few hours and kept them on right until I was ready to install them. Worked well.

Putting mine on now, having trouble figuring out where the clip goes on the drivers side. I think I have it right but it is wedged between the plate and the braket, like it says, just wanted to make sure it doesn't go on top of the bracket with the knob holding it down. For some reason had trouble lining up the holes on the drivers side front for the knobs but the back and other side went on easy.

I think the knob is supposed to hold it down. I didn’t get mine in the box, so it’s not even installed. They did send me one, but I may not even put it on.

OK, got it on, basically, still have some rough spots. Can anyone tell me if they bolted down their back pillar? I'm having problems getting both top corners to fold over and I can't get both sides to lock into the door. One side no problem, the other I can get in the bottom but when I try to get it in at the top, it just won't snap into the channel.

I had a hard time getting my top over the pillar corners but it was like 65° the day I did it, after like a week of being on they pulled right over. Also yours look like higher up in the corner than mine did.
mid that a gap between the pillar and closed door in the last picture?

also, I did bolt down the plastic pieces on the inside using two of the factory roof bolts. The instructions didn’t say to, but the holes lined up so I did.

What was your process for putting the back window in and I'm guessing that the bottom is just held by the tension in the plastic because there is not a slot like on the corners for the plastic to slip into.

i think I zipped it, then strapped it down at the top, and I am almost certain there is a slot for the plastic strip at the bottom.
I am planning on taking the back window and corners out today and getting some more pics, I’ll be sure to get a close up of that.
