Circle 8 or 5 Spoke Steelies?

I scored some of those $80 Kenda Klever 35s and now shopping for wheels. I want a simple, classic look and am torn between the Tactik circle 8 and 5 spoke rims. They are going on a bright white Overland, no lift at the moment. What would you go with?

at that price, yeah, because it was an error so surprised if they actually shipped and it wasn't cancelled.

No evidence it was an error. They ran out of stock one day and came back the next day and relisted at the same price.

There was concern it might have been an error by many, but zero evidence it was. My 5 are on a fedex truck being delivered in a few hours. a handful of others got theirs already. Not a single person reported having their order cancelled. Oh and btw, the mnfr dates on them have been between week 46 2021 and week 2 2022 so far, so they're not even old-new tires as many (myself included) were worrying about.

I'm a little biased as I've already got the 5spokes (sitting in my basement waiting for my new gobi mojave to arrive, which is where my kenda klevers will go as well). But i think the 5 spokes look better.

2 things worth noting:

1. The wheels do NOT weigh 30lbs as stated on quadratec's website. They are 37.4 on my scale. Not sure it that's a dealbreaker for me yet as the kenda's are heavy. 37.4+65.5=lots of rotational mass.

2. The center caps are no longer all black. Mine say Tactik on them. I contacted quadratec and they tried giving me the "we cant control what a supplier sends us" until i pointed out that I knew tactik was a wholy owned subsidiary of quadratec and their business license states they operate at the same address as quadratec's main office. Then it magically became "well, let's send this issue to tech and see what they can do"

My guess? they'll refund me $5 and tell be to buy a rattle can. I hope i'm wrong cause that's shitty customer service.

Again, i'm not sure you understand how a clearance sale works... they are trying to clear inventory. They did. Successfully. What aren't you getting here?

Also, what business doesn't change their price after a sale ends? I'm really struggling with what point you're trying to make here. Things go on sale... then they go off sale. and a day after they are off sale, the price is more expensive. That's how sales work.

Again, i'm not sure you understand how a clearance sale works... they are trying to clear inventory. They did. Successfully. What aren't you getting here?

Also, what business doesn't change their price after a sale ends? I'm really struggling with what point you're trying to make here. Things go on sale... then they go off sale. and a day after they are off sale, the price is more expensive. That's how sales work.

It does. If you want to maintain an inventory of X and you have an inventory of X*4, you could put your inventory on sale until 75% of it is gone. Then you sell the inventory you want to carry at normal pricing.

OR (because this is what really happened) the 80.44 tires weren't from the same seller as the $286 tires. Walmart sold THEIR inventory until they were out of stock, and when that was gone another seller's listing took the top spot.
