Option package 24S means it is a Sport S :) That is the package name for making it an S and the cost is $3400. All Sport S’s have the same at the top (says only Sport). See the 24S under options? You have a Sport S. I have a Sport S so I am familiar with it since I custom ordered it.

You pic is an easy give away it is a Sport S. The back window tint, the wheels, etc are all the Sport S. Those wheels are not an option on a base Sport.

Easiest way to show…..I have attached the order guide to help you see. Quick Order Packages determines the trim of a Sport. As you can see 24S means it is a Sport S with the 8 speed and V6 gasser. A base Sport has a B after the number in the quick order packages.

Similar for Overland - they all start out with the same JTxxxx number even if it's the High Altitude version. (LOL, already forgot what the base JT number designation is for Overland and I just ordered my second one. Oh, the joy of getting old - when you never had a memory to begin with)

Looks like you need to recalibrate your speedometer.
If I did, I actually get 1 mpg better.

I drive from NC to TN and GA a lot and vice versa. Both are a little over 420 miles. My gas light comes on right when I’m arriving. It takes about 19 gallons.

24S has been a popular equipment group on Jeep Wranglers (and now gladiators) since I was ordering them for my dealership back in ‘08 (probably way before that). 23S was the same thing but a manual transmission.

That's the opposite of mine. The Rubicon fox shocks were a step backwards. More bounce when doing things like dropping off the 3/4" drop in front of my garage (two bounces once it lands) and less stable feeling than it was stock.
The rear max tow springs led to a harder ride - you feel more things on the road now, RR tracks are harsher but I gave up some "ride" or softness to hold the ass-end up when towing.
Stiffer springs hold the tires against the road better.
I can't say the ride up front is a lot different with the Rubicon springs up there - they are the softest of the Rubicon springs that were used in 2020. The weight I added likely help to hold it down and keep the ride similar up there, but again, the shocks are nothing to brag about.

I'm going to do some thinking before I put all of these current parts on a new one.
Yeah, mine are the LE Rubicon springs. Might be the difference. I forget the numbers, but they are the stiffest ones. I don’t really understand how they don’t ride rougher. I mean you feel the road more, but it’s still forgiving when I hit pot holes and RR tracks and stuff. They must have some progressive spring rate magic going on with them.

For a while, I ran just the rubicon fox shocks on my overland springs and that alone made the ride and handling more controlled. I’ve never checked the shock part numbers. Are there different Rubicon shocks on the LEs and other Rubicons with the stiffest springs?

Yes. Was considering High Altitude but decided not to (but it was close)
Have no real or legit reason to consider any other level.
This one does everything I've asked of it and does it with fair ease. And it's comfortable as heck.

Leaving it stock?
Moving most things from 2020 to new 2022.
Undecided on springs and shocks. The Rubicon springs up front didn't really hold all that steel up very well.
Mine APPEARS to sit 1" higher than stock all the way around. That means I have it 1" higher, with the exact same rake.
I took the end "wings" off the bumper to start the process, and freshen it up. But I likely will have 2 or 3 months to get everything off this one. I was told to take off everything I added, including bug deflector and splash guards - which will go onto new one fairly quickly. (need to buy some good POM rivets)
Keeping matching spare wheel - likely keep the tires but thinking about that and doing some math. (it's been 11,000 miles since I put these one, but then that's spread over 5 tires and not 4)

The stock rear springs sag badly with any load in the bed, or a trailer hooked on. My trailer would make it look like a squatting dog with stock rear springs.
After I put max tow springs under it, the worst that happened is that it sat level with the trailer hooked up.
(OF course that's enough to make the headlights blind people so I may have to add air bags or something)

The weight up front won't be supported by the stock overland springs. The bumper, winch and skid plate even made the Rubicon springs drop half an inch (granted, they are the lighter Rubicon springs), it would have been worse with the Overland springs. The stock springs just don't support even the factory payload number well.

I am going to rethink what springs go under it. May still put the max tow springs back under the new one, but I'll have to do something to keep the sag down a bit or be blinding people on the night time drive home with trailer.

Him and I both have loaded overland automatics with factory tow so I’ll tell you my experience.

I’m not sure. They are awful. I can’t find the pic, but you should have seen mine on the stock overland suspension when pulling a loaded Uhaul 6x12. It weighed about 5k lbs and was evenly loaded. It was sagging badly. The tow capacity on mine is 6k lbs. Same trailer and load, it rides evenly on the Rubicon LE springs.

Overland springs are weird. They are longer than my LE Rubicon springs, but super soft. I just found mine. 439 and 440. They are complete shit. IMO.
