Need a Sunrider Part

Bought a sunrider used and missing a part they are trying to locate. @Bestop says they won’t have one till the end of next year. How about @AllMoparParts.com ?

or…anyone have one by any chance?
It’s the clamp that does in the middle under the roof towards the back.

I don't even understand how that's possible. It's a part that goes with every unit they sell. They have to be constantly receiving them from their contracted factory, unless they are so overstocked on inventory they shut down contract manufacturing production. And if they are that overstocked, then it shouldn't hurt them to part out a unit they have that they don't expect to sell until the middle to end of next year.

Personally, I would not accept that answer from Bestop.

I agree that it is odd that they won’t have a part for nearly 6+ weeks. And as you said, a part they need for every sunrider they sell. With that said, I didn’t buy it direct so they don’t owe me any support. I did order one brand new for our other jeep that should be here next week. Worst case scenario if it doesn’t show up I’ll just poach that one and wait to mount it till I can source the part. Doesn’t help that I’m coordinating with my wife from across the country while I’m on a work trip.

Yes we did. They are trying to find it. I’m just formulating a back up plan.

Tagged @AllMoparParts.com for that one. On all the Mopar sites I only see the sunrider but no parts list or schematic.

Be sure to look through all of the nooks and crannies. Glove box, under rear seat storages, pocket on outside of the freedom panels storage bag, seat pockets, etc.

You could also hookup with another owner near you and borrow theirs. Take it to someone who can 3D scan and 3D print and get one made.

I am sorry we do not show any serviceable parts for that kit. I would refer you to Bestop as you already did.
