** NO LONGER MAKING THESE ** as of Calendar Year 2025

Hey everyone,
I always get a lot of interest in my hot shower at expos so I figured I'd put together a brand new, fully complete kit for sale.

Some of the highlights of this "new" design include...

1) More compact size case that still nests both the shower wand and propane hose
2) Quick disconnect water input and output fittings
3) Mirror and wash cloth hook
4) Side carry handle and rear handle (included but not installed) for hanging shower box if not mounting
5) Vibration dampening rubber feet included for hard mounting to camper or truck bed rack

You just need a propane source and water hookup for endless hot water on your next adventure!

$599

Lifetime warranty? Hehe. Kidding looks nice. Could possibly use that. You recommend any particular tank? Does it have a pressure pump or gravity?

Ha, I believe it has what the kids call a "taillight warranty" :) In all honesty I am simply putting this kit together for someone who just wants to purchase a turn key shower box. I'm not making any parts and nothing is proprietary. I just think that I did a clean job of making things functional and tidy so I'd see if people wanted the same.

Any water tank will do but I personally think a minimum of 10 gal is needed as the shower will use water quickly if you're ambitious with a long shower . Frontrunner makes nice tank options.

You need 10-110psi of water pressure to operate the tankless heater ignition. Pressure from a garden hose works or a simple water pump from Amazon does the trick to get water from your tank. Gravity feed won't work.

*laughing* That thing looks nicer than most of the ones I see in campers, nowadays. Someone needs to take some notes from you.

In all seriousness, that's actually a very well put together idea.. too bad you can't turn it into a business.

Good luck with the sale :)

Hey there,
A STL friend I see? My wife and I are born and raised STL and we'll be back for the holidays. Not sure if we'll have the JT but I might have to see yours. Thanks for the praise. I always get people asking about it and I thought I'd make one. It'd be cool to make a business out of it but I'm not personally making any of the components to warranty the product. I'm just a meticulous person and l wanted to do the legwork for someone who didn't have a few of the tools or confidence to put it together.

I’m in and will be in touch via DM in the coming days. Fantastic offering at a very fair price.
Sounds great. There's not much profit on it for me, just having fun putting it together and helping someone out who may not have the confidence to put it together themselves. I figured if I didn't even sell one I'd just keep it as a spare to my current shower or carry it around in my wife's Subbie if we take that out camping.

The plastic shower box kits don't hold up well and can break after a few months. Please beware of this issue.
This will allow water to flow out everywhere if it doesn't come with an inflow valve at the bottom which you'll need to buy separately anyways. So if you're looking for something that's reliable, check out the metal or stone shower boxes that are made for this purpose. They never corrode like plastic does and should last much longer than any other model on the market because they're solid stone or iron all around without any openings in them except for a drainage hole near the bottom so water can drain off when you no longer want a hot bath and the best combination is to use best shower head which does not corrode and stays forever you will get the suggestions here

Ummm, ok. Are you commenting just on the plastic box itself? I don't think anyone will see the degradation of the box happen in their time of ownership. If you're talking about the shower unit, then I'm super confused. Your train of thought is everywhere and all this talk of "corroding" seems nonsensical.

Given that you have (3) messages and just joined the forum (6) days ago I am probably not even responding to a real person...

But anyway, you got me to bite on a response and this is the ONE you get.

Only thing I would like to see added to that is some edge trim on the holes and maybe removable plugs for those holes. I imagine you could either change the size of the holes to match already available parts or have parts 3d printed.

Totally agree and I looked into that. Problem with the rubber grommets is that they are too big in overall diameter with the spacing of the holes. The material thickness of the case is 5mm and the hole diameter is 1 and 3/8". The grommets I have web searched to fit this hole are 2" in total diameter which would put them on top of each other.

Now plugs on the other hand would work if you installed one from the inside and one from the outside to not overlap the rubber lips.

Honestly though, aesthetics aside, the "raw" edge of the plastic hole doesn't contact the hoses due to the size of the quick disconnect head. IF someone didn't want the quick disconnect fitting them the hole could be smaller and I'd size it to perfectly match a rubber grommet and hose configuration to make things a tight fit.

My OCD wants me to come up with something more finished for the holes but honestly it's not really necessary at the moment. I would also have to add to the cost of rubber caps / grommets to the overall price. Again, I'll check out options and appreciate the feedback :)

Here's some picks of the quick disconnect fittings... perfect tolerances to the hole size. Hose won't contact the raw edges.

Yes, I've heard a lot about low-quality connections to hoses. Also, they can't handle the pressure of big showerheads(I got this one). But to my mind, it mainly concerns all the similar kits. And the $500 price isn't attractive at all. Is there any alternative?

Yes, go buy the shower, box, rivnuts, rubber spacers and mirror off Amazon and build the kit yourself.

OR...

go buy the Joolca kit and still need to assemble the box if you desire. anyway you slice it, an on-demand style hot water shower like this is $300+
