Tim,

Thank you for posting up the update. I'm glad to hear everything went well. I think you will find a lot of Discount Tire employees are enthusiasts just like people on the forums.

Your Gladiator looks awesome BTW. Thank you for your business.

Quick technical question for the group. I have a 2022 Altitude (pictured below.) I've read all over that 35" tires fit pretty much all models. I'm not even trying to go that big - I know Mojave and Rubicon have 285 70R17 so I went with that size to be safe. I didn't go into this blind - I did some research beforehand and I think I'm gonna be OK without spacers. My size equates to (roughly) 33x11.5/17. (Actually a touch smaller, if we're splitting hairs. 32.7x11.2/17.)

I'm going rounds with the manager at Discount Tire about installing them. Is there ANY reason anyone knows of that LT285 70R17 shouldn't fit my stock setup, including the wheels? The wheels are 17"x7.5" which is the same as the Rubicon stock rims. I know the Rubicon axles are slightly bigger - is it that much of a difference?

I have them on my Rubicon and they are fine. Find another store.

Got my 37’s on today. My appointment was at 1 pm and by 1:03 they had the tires off. I even got an additional $110 off with a 4th of July promo. Big fan of Discount Tire.Waiting patiently for the Metalcloak sale now.

To anyone who reads this thread; @Discount Tire is always the jam. A stock Mojave can take 37s with the right wheels. When I showed up my DT was like “No way they fit”. I told them don’t worry and they mounted them up to my wheels. Everyone there is an enthusiast and all work stopped as they got mounted and passed the test fit. Dude were high giving and shit. It was awesome.

Those are the wider 8" Mopar 392 beadlock-capables. Did they mention if 37's can be installed on the other 392 7.5" width wheels? I'm on 35s, MetalCloak 3.5" lift, stubby bumper for more clearance and no questions asked when mounted on the narrower 392. @Discount Tire

That is a beautiful truck. I too ordered a 3.5” Metalcloak lift. Seems like the best looking setup for the Gladiator IMO.

I too have a Mojave (2021 model). Bought it with a little les than 5,000 miles. Came with some 33" Thunderer M/T tire. Very loud. OK in the mud, but 99% of my time is on the highway. Was looking to go with 37 BFG KO2s. Is that what you had installed?

ive got 37x12.5x17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/Ts. You’ll be fine at 37”, but the trick is the 12.5. They won’t fit on the stock wheels. I got AEV Saverge II. They’re built specifically for the JL and JT and I think the offset is 5.5” or something. That’s what keeps the extra inch of width from rubbing at full lock.

sorry thought of some other things too. To be honest, I’m not thrilled with the 4.10 gears and 37s. It’s a pretty good performance hit. I haven’t decided if I want to regear or go down to 35s after I burn these. If I had it to do over I’d have gone 35s.

This situation is the same question I'm trying research my way through. I have a max tow with a 2.5 lift and I'm trying to find out if a 37" KO2 will fit. Some folks say yes, others no.
