Hmmm. If only one could get a recent satellite photo of the Toledo plant, and see if there were hundreds of complete Wranglers and Gladiators sitting there waiting for trains.

Here is a recent Google map of the Jeep plant showing the location of your jeep. Enjoy.

Manufacturing plant (final assembly) need to clear space off their shipping lots. With all these “shortages” they’ve moved vehicles all over the US now. We have a few lots full of new vehicles all over Phoenix area. They are waiting a few components and will be off to the dealers as soon as they come in. As they sit if they are missing one part, like rear view mirror, they are not considered complete thus can’t be on a dealer lot since auto dealers are independent from auto makers. I’ll try to take a pic next time I drive by that lot. There is no auto final assembly in AZ. Once completed they’ll likely go to nearby dealers or adjacent state. It’s likely even a vehicle ordered will be treated the same way.
My order sheet said it would go to PHX , but is sitting in Vaughn, NM with no trucks or drivers or anyone to unload the rail cars since 6/25 - ordered 2/21, still waiting. At least it's only 200 miles away now.

Maybe your salesman used to work for Kioti Tractors. This is how my new tractor arrived at the dealer last week. I'll have to wait until Saturday for the assembled pic.

No M-F dealers reasonably close to me, so I didn't even look very hard at them.
Kioti, Deere, and Kubota are all within about 15 miles of home.

First off, there is very little American left about the John Deere utility tractors. They are assembled in the USA from parts made in Japan, China, India, Mexico, and elsewhere. There is no such thing as a "Made in USA" compact utility tractor, so that's not a reason to buy Green.

Kubota is an Asian company, that also assembles tractors here in the US. I would actually say Kubota CUTs are probably more "made in America" than Deere's. Kubota is building engines here, JD imports theirs from Japan.

Kioti is a brand name for South Korean company Daedong. They've been building ag equipment for 75 years. They actually used to build tractors for Kubota and then there were some lawsuits back and forth that led to a split, but they still supply Kubota with many parts. They also built tractors for Bobcat, Cub Cadet and New Holland.

All that said, Kioti gives ya WAY more bang for your buck. I bought a fairly loaded Kioti for what a comparable base line Kubota or Deere cost. Once you optioned those to match the Kioti, they were somewhere in the area of 30% more expensive. Even then, the Kioti has slightly better specs, as well as a better warranty if needed. If I was using this for a business, or worried about resale, then I may have weighed the 30% surcharge on the Deere differently (I am not a fan of Kubota's treadle pedal hydrostatic drive, so they would have had to worked REALLY hard to get me).
