Hi all
I just noticed that my 26 Willys Gladiator while in park qhen I turn the steering wheel the pump activates and it idles lower for a second. Everytime I just nudge the steering wheel I hear what I believe the steering pimp to kick on.
Is this a common thing? In my experience when the...
Ok here the funny thing of the day. My willys does not have rear back up break assist, but a new driver may forget to turn off start/stop before backing out and it shut off... cuz I just did it again today. Tried to do the under the hood Ess disable that didn't work, I do not like SS
Nice, I just did a change at 500 miles this morning, and for 500 miles it looked a little dirtier than i expected, will do another at 3500, then every 5k.
Glad to hear your going strong at this regiment!
Ok, thanks I'll look into it. The wife had all (we thought) assist breaking off, and we didn't see a rear back up assist... I changed the title power your suggestion.. makes sense
I was just backing out of a parking spot at a gas station, there was a vehicle at the pump but I could easily making the back out, however when i got a few feet from the vehicle the gladiator put on full brakes and Immediatley stopped, i thought I backed into someone, but I did not. Does the...
I do every 5k on my 2021 GMC Sierra. I'm a easy driver 98% of the time, and at 5k with full synthetic Mobile1 I see the breakdown already. I'm not a believer that full synthetics run longer, the reason being is that, synthetic oils are made from by products of the oil industry. I'm a firm...
Thanks I agree, I think it comes right down to intervals of changes rather than weight of oil. If your running in hot weather change more frequently, etc... thanks for your input much appreciated
I'm beginning to agree as I read. AND I am starting to think that the issue is coming up in oil change intervals. When I was growing up it was common change oil every 3,000 miles now its 10k, I think that's a bunch of K rap to be honest. Every 5,000 max, and this is probably why running 0-20 for...
Thanks . Yea I'm a stickler for going by the book book, but I'm also one to do more to preserve my vehicles, it look like a darn if you do, darn if you don't type of quandary.
However on another note, this Willys drives better than I could of imagined, I'm pretty amazed at the handling at...
Hey Forum, newbie here, glad to be here and thanks for having me.
I have been reading about the 0-20 oil issue.
My question what is reccomended on majority 5-30 or 10-30?
Also, is it OK to run the same oil filter with a heavier viscosity oil?
She's only got 300 miles on it and want to head...
Hi,
New to this forum, just bought a 2026 Willys Gladiator, and was hoping to puck your brain a minute. Do you reccomend 5w-30 in the 3.6l ? Also would it require a different oil filter?
And what was Stellantis reason for changing the oil weight?
Thanks
