  1. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

Technically you could say its 21" of travel like the engineer stated as the wheel can "travel" 21" from lowest to highest point. But when doing a comparison of Suspension Travel to other high speed off road desert trucks its not the same comparison.

Yep on a SFA articulation is different from the standard wheel travel. On IFS its measured from full droop to full compression, with IFS since the wheels are independent the measurement is just that the overall travel. On a SFA its different and each side is limited to how much it can compress...

I doubt that's correct. For example, the Raptor has 11-12" of travel and Trophy Trucks have around 20-24" of wheel travel. That might be the case for articulation but I doubt it for up/down travel.
  4. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

Yea thats why I think it's the same, otherwise they would be promoting it. It's just weird to make a high speed-focused one without additional travel.
  5. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

Still no travel numbers ???????? For those of you interested in desert running, why are none of you interested in travel numbers? My guess is that it's the same as a Rubicon but with better shocks.
  6. Can Aftermarket suppliers start doing this please?

My wife and I are the same. Fully sperate accounts. I make double what she does so I pay the house payment and utilities and insurances, she pays for groceries, her car, and own CC. It works out great. When she needs help with expenses I just transfer money.
  7. Can Aftermarket suppliers start doing this please?

Vendors should have some stealth billing names that show up on the credit card receipt like "Fluffy Friends Charity" similar to strip club ATMs (not that I know anything about that).

Sorry guys didn't read all 10 pages of this thread but did anyone see actual suspension travel numbers? I'm curious if this actually has more travel over the Rubicon.
  9. Discussion: 2020 Ford Raptor or 2020 Jeep Gladiator

Congrats and welcome to the club. I'm the same way, no hate for the Gladiator and its why I still check in here from time to time, but the Raptor was just a better fit for me personally. Biggest change for me was learning how to park it lol, but after a week I got pretty use to it.
  10. Discussion: 2020 Ford Raptor or 2020 Jeep Gladiator

lol yea its the width more than the length. I can still fit my Crew cab Raptor in our 2 car garage with my wifes 3 Series. If she had a big SUV though it might be an issue.
  11. Discussion: 2020 Ford Raptor or 2020 Jeep Gladiator

I don't regret getting mine. Just hit 1,000 miles and love it. It was a HUGE upgrade from my JKU in pretty much every way. Mine was stickered at $70K and I got it for $62,500 so pretty close to your deal. Like you said the resale on these is pretty good so at those discounts you can almost buy...
  12. Discussion: 2020 Ford Raptor or 2020 Jeep Gladiator

The only thing I agree with you on it the stickers as I'm not a fan of stickers on any vehicle. You say it shorter than a standard F150? No, it's not. Its the same size as and crew or extended cab F150. The Power Wagon may have solid axels, but its also longer and heavier and more difficult to...
  13. Does anyone else accidentally wave when not driving your Jeep?

Yea I have done it a couple times driving the wifes car lol
  14. mojito, punkin, or a raptor

You should go and see if a Diesel JL is on the lots yet. Will give you and idea of the power and also drive a V6 Gladiator to get a feel for the handling. Make sure to do a freeway test and get it up to 70 MPH, as Freeway and around town are a lot different. I think if you do that and compare...
  15. mojito, punkin, or a raptor

    Have you test-driven both?
