...when dropped off at dealership 65,701, bought new from same dealer April of 2021, all service done at dealership purchased from, no extendedwarranty. Truck is three months or 5,701 miles out of power train warranty. No lift and kept stock size tires when replaced. I would appreciate some...
Just replaced #4 on mine 2 weeks ago. Easy to replace.
I just replaced my number 4 cylinder plug a few weeks ago. Just look for the little harness (circled in red). The picture above is for the driver side. The plugs/cylinders are numbered going from front to back= 1,2,3 are on the passenger...
but if they fail (coil element breakers) they are done, they don’t come b
Thanks!
Any pics of the location/head of the glow plug to help ID?
So definitely not worth going though my extendedwarranty and potentially a deductible, just DIY?
our wrangler xr has had 2 new sets of shocks on it under warranty in under 40k and they are leaking again. wife Never takes it offroad. still under the extendedwarranty and we will not bother having jeep replace them this time around.
Did anyone try forced regen before calling it broken? Dealer included.
You need to run a forced regen, using jscan or tazer or other diagnostic tool. It triggers resets that just high rpm won't fix.
If a forced regen doesn't fix it then you likely have a broken part.
...to take the road trip. Just got back and dropped at the dealer and they text that the DPF System needs to be replaced. I have an extendedwarranty which will cover it. The issue is that its VIN specific and thus 7-10 days to get the parts. The warranty covers my loaner, but this seems crazy...
With the quality of vehicles being made and assembled as of current, I for one would not want to be with-out an extendedwarranty insurance policy. But only go with the vehicle manufactures warranties. Example: MOPAR MAX Extendedwarranty insurance policy. Most of these third-party warranties...
Im just amazed they took the coverage.
All jokes aside , once you reach 125,000 no warranty will work. Your back on ypur own. Even the Mopar has a top end to their mileage.
Warranties set limits on what you can do and how far you can travel and wherever.
Saving for the possible Eventuality...
You regulars here might already know this, but BIG UPDATES:
The Rebel half rack and Topoak tent have officially come off and were replaced with the Campone Unilift Combo. Very excited about this, as it allows me to fit in the garage! I haven'ttaken much for photos yet, but I have my initial...
...at repair shops along with the dealership.
Nothing at my dealership, but some dealerships could raise a stink.
I'll be one. We received a free warranty with purchase, and it's paid for a new motor. We also paid for an extendedwarranty and that has covered a new radiator and third brake light.
I am thinking about getting an extendedwarranty myself, if I do it would definitely be the factory Mopar one. I bought my Gladiator new about 1 1/2 years ago and put about 11,000 miles on it in that time, it is my daily driver. I have owned several different brands of vehicles in my time but...
In any of these threads someone inevitably comes along and enthusiastically brags about how their extendedwarranty saved them a garrilion dollars on an alternator replacement and they're so grateful to have had it.
If warranty companies paid out more than they took in, they wouldn't be in...
I have been considering options and trims, looking at a Gladiator for a year or so. It would be my first Jeep, first Mopar product. I've always been a Chevy, Honda, or Mazda owner. I was in the car business for 25 years, never bought a warranty, and have never had any major problems with any...
Yes I'm still under warranty. I still have 1`0K miles left and will probably just let them fix the camera issues whenever I get the fire recall fixed or when it bursts Ito flames whichever comes first. I would highly doubt it got wet since I have only seen about 3" of rain in the 2 years I've...
...causing interference, or the chip that actually processes the video signal is faulty.
Are you not under warranty, or have an extendedwarranty that covers your electronics?
-Your vehicle is new enough you'd probably still qualify for an extendedwarranty (make sure it covers ALL...
...deal with the schmucks at the dealership. When I bought her Bronco Sport the finance guy swore up and down we were buying a Ford extendedwarranty. Come to find out when i got the first statement from FoMoCo credit it was in fact NOT their warranty but the dealer's own. I immediately...
