I initially had mine in the center holes and my caster was at 7.4 I moved up to the top hole and the steering and ride feels a little better. Moving to the top holes actually gets the control arms more level which improved the already good ride. Not sure where the caster is now but I’m hoping...
Finally got my 2” AEV lift installed with Rancho Geo Brackets in the middle hole. My caster is right at 7 degrees. Is that to much? Will it cause premature wear? Should I move them to the first hole? It drives and steers fine.
So for you guys with the 2” Mojave lift that had your geo brackets at the lowest setting and were in the 4.5 degree caster range, and we’re going to try the middle setting, did that put you where we want to be? Are most people running the middle setting at that 6.2-6.7 degree range?
So my AEV 2” lift just came in for my Mojave. I have the geo correction brackets AND the longer control arms from the mopar lift. With the longer control arms, should I use the middle setting on the geo brackets?
Just added 37” BFG AT KO’s with stock suspension… My AEV 2” lift should be delivered soon. The AEV lift is out of stock and on back order through many of the vendors I contacted but MB Auto out of Indianapolis Indiana has a bunch in stock if anyone is looking for them, spread the word!
No rubbing at all on the street. Keep in mind the BFG tires run very small. I measured them yesterday and they were only 35.25 true height. They are actually like big 35’s.
The gearing around town seems fine but I had it up on the interstate this morning; driving into the wind it wanted to stay...
Well yesterday was the day… I went with the 37x12.5 BFG AT KO2’s. They look just a touch stuffed on the stock Mojave suspension but a 1-2” spacer lift will look perfect. In all honesty the 8.5” wheels make the 12.5” tires look a little skinny and the +25 offset keeps the tires mostly tucked in...
