No rubbing at all on the street. Keep in mind the BFG tires run very small. I measured them yesterday and they were only 35.25 true height. They are actually like big 35’s.
The gearing around town seems fine but I had it up on the interstate this morning; driving into the wind it wanted to stay in 6th gear at 70mph (measured using my phone GPS). Coming home it would shift into 7th, and even occasionally 8th. Hoping it gets better when my Tazer arrives and I can reprogram my shift points and recalibrate my speedometer. Either way, i have no regrets.
FYI, I was able to talk my local Discount Tire into mounting two 35’s on my drivers side and two 37’s on my passenger side to help me decide between the two… I obviously chose the 37’s and they just took off the 35’s and exchanged them for two more 37’s. Unfortunately I was unable to get any pics of the 35’s because there was a car parked to close to that side.
That’s good to know. I’m in between the BFG K02s, Mickey Baja ATs, and Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I think I’ll end up doing a 35 in either two but based on what you said on the BFGs running small and everyone else saying the same thing, I’d probably have to order up on those. Which makes a big difference consider price differences of 35s to 37s.

Nice looking wheels. How you liking the Swampers? I had SSM16’s on my JK but replaced them with Ridge Grapplers for better road manners.
The SSRs have exceeded my expectations in all driving conditions. Dry, wet roads, snow pack, deep snow, ice, slush, and of course off road in dirt and mud. I haven't really rock crawled with them so that is about the only thing I don't have an opinion on yet.

They have worn only 3/32 in 15k miles with four 5 tire rotations (sitting at 18/32). Only bad things are they are a heavy E rated tire and with my steel wheels took a lot of weight to balance but they roll smooth.

Cheers

I spent the 3d round of stimulus payments (and then some) on Mopar's 2" lift (diesel p/n 77072469AC) and 315/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTechs mounted on Black Rhino Abams in OD Green. With an -.18 backset on the Abrams, these 35's have a serious amount of poke. All of the guys at the tire shop were salivating. A dude driving by in a Pontiac Sunfire was staring so hard he ran a red light and T-boned a Tesla Model S. Now I know how a blond cheerleader feels...

I don't like the Red Accents on my gator that much, but on Sarge it looks even worse in my opinion. Way to christmass-y. Color is awesome though.
I agree. I ordered a Sarge Green Rubicon last November. I don't have it yet, but the first thing I'm going to do is take off the Rubicon stickers. I think I'm going to write her name in a military stencil style decal on the hood instead of Rubicon.

That’s always an awesome look on a sarge green!

Looks as though the 2022 Willys Sport, omits the rock rails, adds a 7" radio.

Configured as my 2021 was it's just slightly more expensive.
7 inch is now standard. Even on basic sport models

Got the Tyger Roll-up Tonneau cover on today and it looks great. I am loving the Sarge Willys blackout scheme and the cover enhances it even more. Happy to answer any questions. Have a great weekend!

Any thoughts on the Tyger Roll up? Now that you have had it awhile....
You still happy with it or wish you chose differently?
I am not sure I want a Tri-fold or roll up. I think I may prefer a roll up...

FWIW .. My business partner purchased one for his Taco TRD Pro and loves it. Been about a month now .. When my Mopar twill roll up needs to be replaced, I will be purchasing the tyger soft roll up for the JT ... I was on the fence because of the velcro .. however its not bad at all and does not hold water like my mopar soft roll up does ...

Any feedback on those Teraflex wheels? I'm thinking of going that route with mine
I actually love them. Airdown is super quick and painless with the preset valve. Bash guard is replaceable as single pieces. Only negative is they charge $17 for each valve stem cover. That's just ridiculously expensive. Mines were just stolen.
