If I were to hard pipe air on a vehicle, I'd use a 1 hole cushioned clamp, like the following.
  2. Multiple warnings at once, my thoughts and your input please

Definitely scan the codes, will pin point the problem location. Mine was driver rear, critter chewed the wires on the main harness side of the connector on top of the frame. I bought a speed sensor I didn't need and the correct side of the connector with 6" of wire and butt spliced/ heat shrink...

  6. Notes on the AEV spacer lift.

Yes, even old, retired construction workers have to admit that a time comes where we need to pay someone else to do the work.
  7. SOS. Need help with lower control arm.

Try the floor jack on the side of the axle you're working. Raise and lower the jack to see where it gets you closer. Ratchet strap on that side of axle back to frame to draw it in.
  8. Opinions on These 37” Tires...

I have the KO3's in 37/12.50-17. Mine won't hold balance for very long. Other than that they are a decent tire.

  11. RV Towing with heavy load question

Part of the tow/haul equation for the JT is the braking and cooling ability. Each vehicle is different due to options. This equation is for DRIVING the JT when loaded whether it's payload or trailer. In this instance the JT is NEITHER. It's a high dollar trailer being towed by another vehicle...
  12. RV Towing with heavy load question

In the picture, the majority of the weight of the bike is forward of the bumper and the COG is very near the axle.
  13. RV Towing with heavy load question

I'm going to throw my $.02 in. The payload on the truck does NOT count in this example. The payload for the truck is found by combining brake strength and cooling capacity of the JT. Neither will be used in this instance, it's all on the tow vehicle. Yes, I know some brake enabler has to be...
  14. Another battery thread, but this one is different AND for the good.

You DID see this was the wife's car, right? There was no preventive battery maintenance. She drives around everywhere for no reason. I don't get a chance to look at the car until "the car is broke". I had to almost chisel the corrosion off the positive side to get it off the post.
  15. Mopar Ducks.

Sad thing is, there are people who will pay the money for them.
  16. Another battery thread, but this one is different AND for the good.

Just had to replace the battery in my wife's 2015 ScoobieDoo Legacy. This is a 2015, 4 cylinder, battery group 24. OEM lasted until Dec 2018. It was replaced with an Interstate Battery, lead and acid. That 30 month battery lasted from Dec 2018 until Aug 2025. Yes I put the same exact thing...

Go ahead and look at the EVO long arm kit. @EVO MFG
  18. Long Arm vs. Short Arm...for my specific usage

Is there a reason, besides it's what the shops near you recommend, for being stuck on teraflex? They have a history of warranty denial saying the parts were installed incorrectly. I would avoid that at all costs.
  19. Long Arm vs. Short Arm...for my specific usage

First, NEVER assume anything. Second, if you're not blasting through sand dunes or doing extreme flexing in the rocks, you don't NEED long arms. You may want them though, some people do, without the need for them.
  20. Coolant expansion level to high

The new fangled parts changers don't know what to look for if the computer doesn't tell them. The days of old fashioned diagnosis are long gone.
