No it’s definitely not the tires. I’ve had the tires on for at least 6 months. We took a trip out west to Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming, and I was averaging 22-24 (on the gauge) for the total trip of around 2500 miles even through the mountains. It definitely started around the time I had the oil...
I did recently hear on the news that they’re switching over soon, so maybe they already did. And I do remember filling up with diesel the day before I had the oil changed.
That may be it. I’m in Minnesota, and I believe they may have already started selling winter blend. Quite a drop in mpg from summer to winter blend. I don’t drive it in the snow and salt so maybe I didn’t notice it last
I thought I posted this in the diesel forum. Stock 3.73 gears. I’ve had the pedal commander since it was new. I’ve been getting 20 mpg on it around town with bumper, winch, Go fast camper, and yes on 37’s. I’ll average 24-25 on the interstate at 65-70 mph loaded with camping gear. It just all of...
What? Do you know what driving in town means? I guess not. Let me specify. City driving. Not on the highway. Not Interstate driving long distance. . “Town” driving, “City” driving, whatever you want to call it, is stop in go in traffic, etc. got it now? Is it clear enough?
I just turned over 11,000 miles about a week ago. I replaced my engine air filter and took the Gladiator in the next day for my 2nd oil change. Ever since, I’ve noticed that my mpg is steadily dropping. I rarely ever get less than 20 mpg in town but I’ve dropped to 17 average over the past week...
If you’re getting that kind of mpg loaded down, and I’m getting 22 mpg on flat terrain with a slight headwind hauling pretty much the same load as you, then what am I doing wrong? I hear many people here stating those kind of numbers and I’m lucky to get 24 mpg downhill.
TrailRecon made a video of his 4xe Wrangler off road. After the battery dies in 19 miles, all you’re running on is the baby 4 cylinder engine. He didn’t have his 4xe very long before getting rid of it. No thanks. I’ll take my diesel any day.
Yes it is. Most HVAC companies won’t even service a Mr Cool system if something goes wrong with it. It’s considered a disposable unit like a window unit. But for the price, you could buy 10 of them for what most HVAC companies charge to install and warranty a name brand system like a Daikin.
You are correct. The Daikin Aurora mini split systems will heat efficiently down to -15 degrees outdoor ambient temperatures. They will heat below those temperatures, but it won’t keep the indoor space at 70 degrees.
I don’t think we want to start a debate on gas vs diesel gladiators. I’ll just say that I’ve had both and I much prefer my diesel over the gas. ?
My Gladiator is a diesel. I have not noticed any difference at all in power or mpg. My mpg on the way out west averaged 24-25. On the way back with a pretty strong headwind through the flatlands I averaged a little over 22mpg. I also had the Falken M/T’s before. These tires run so much smoother...
I have the exact same setup. We did some off-road trails in Idaho last weekend with some pretty decent ruts and rocks and I had no issues with rubbing even with sway bar disconnected and fully loaded down with camping gear. I do plan on lifting soon because the stock suspension is very soft...
Easy on the mods? I’ve already added wheels, bigger tires, bumper and winch. Are you saying that I’ll have to remove all of that? I don’t even have the stock wheels, tires or bumper any longer. Is that going to void my warranty?
