Just sent an email off to Timber Grove with a few questions and a request for photos of the Gladiator kit installed if possible. I will report back with any information I get!
Same - I think I might reach out to them and see if they have some more details and photos of them installed.
Also curious if they add any height when not inflated, which I'm hoping to avoid.
The Timber Grove bags for the Gladiator look a little different than their other models and it says they were specifically designed to maintain articulation - it also says that the max PSI is 90, so definitely within the range of a normal pump which is also nice. These are definitely...
Those look like an interesting option - def seem more durable which appeals to me as well. I'm wondering if their standard kit would work well with the Mopar lift which is 2in or 2.5in max, at least on the heavier Rubicon model :movember:
I'm a little unclear on the install for these, seems...
Great info, thanks! I'll def check their channel out, great to hear that the bags can stand up to some actual use beyond grocery getting, haha.
I'm definitely thinking the bags are the way to go, just need to figure out which kit combo works best for the Mopar 2in lift.
So far it seems like nobody in this thread who actually got one of the kits and used it with the Mopar lift feels like coming back and sharing what they used and how it's been working.
Im considering just buying both the RAM and Gladiator kits and just trying different combos until it seems...
You might be right, I've read several threads on this and some of this could have been in another thread, haha. I know that there were a couple people at least in this one who have done it, so hoping they all see this eventually and share some thoughts on how their choice has been working out!
Hmmm, according to a couple people in the thread, speaking directly Airlift is not helpful at all as their reps do not seem to have good information on what is actually in their kits. One guy a few posts back ended up buying 3 diff kits going off of their various recommendations and none of it...
So I've read this thread through twice and am still unsure of which option is the better one for those of us with the Mopar 2in lift.
It seems like there's three different paths people are taking with these airlift bags:
1) Order the RAM 1500 bags and use them together with the spacers from...
Awesome, I'll check out the thread!
I bet it is a common question, that's the main "obstacle" given by companies/people when asked about designing a topper like this. Super interested to see how it does when you start using it :jk:
Awesome, thanks for sharing! I'm having a hard time deciding between the GFC and the Super Pacific...both are pretty rad in their own ways (and in some similar ways, haha).
Are you on stock shocks/springs currently?
Looks awesome! I'm currently looking into the different camper options and was wondering how you've been liking the Super Pacific?
Also wondering what suspension you have on your JT and if you noticed any sag or ride quality issues after the camper was installed??
I ordered the Mopar locking gas cap that lets you key it for your fob key.
My thoughts are, I probably won't use it right now...but if gas gets to $10 or more, I imagine locking gas caps will probably be pretty hard to come by, as lots of people will start buying them at that point. I would...
No photos, but I FINALLY got my suspension issues figured out so I'm very happy about that!
I had a friend install the Mopar lift right before going to Utah for a couple weeks. While on that trip, a couple suspension parts loosened up a little, which was to be expected. When I got back home, I...
Thanks!
The bike rack is a 1up with a Kuat Pivot V2 swing arm that we can use or not depending on the trip. It's really nice on longer trips to have the bikes be able to swing open for easy access to the bed through the tailgate. It does cause the bikes to sit a litter further back though, so...
I had that same thought as well, but I have to say I haven't really thought about it since...my Jeep is at least a little dirty most of the time and I never notice finger smudges anymore, haha.
