I just bought it and as I didn’t know the tire and trailer history I was more on the cautious side.
I just bought it and as I didn't know the trailer and tire history I was more cautious anyway, but here's a little known list for trailer speed limits...
The brakes on my JTRD are far better then the stock brakes on my 2012 JKU. I replaced the brakes on the JKU 2 weeks after I got in 2016 after almost rear-ending somebody in morning highway commuter traffic twice.
JTRD with 3k miles. Just did a round trip from Richmond/VA to Youngstown/OH last weekend. ~27.3 mpg for the way up to OH, and 24.6mpg on the way back. I got a M416 trailer in OH and towed it back home with obeying the 65mph speed limit for the trailer. At no point in time did I felt the trailer...
I didn't do the homework on the windshield replacement cost before ordering the ACC option. I'm still looking into the 4xE to replace my 2012 JKU, for sure it will not have ACC.
So, I was hauling back a Tepui Autana3 from NC this weekend and was playing around with the ACC. I was locked onto a semi doing 70mph, I was in his shadow for almost 2h (~130miles).
I have the Decked drawer system, Road Armor Track bed rack installed, and the Autana was flat on the bed, this...
Does anybody has the size for the annex? I'm looking for the size of the floor for the standard annex (not the XL), is it comparable with the Tepui Autana 3?
I had the same buzzing noise, it should go away after +1000 miles on the clock. I have ~1500 miles on it and don't hear it anymore, not sure when it stopped.
I still haven’t pulled the trigger on my RTT, but I was actually thinking to mount the RTT strait onto my Road Armor Track rack and don’t use the RTT bars, but adjust bars of the rack to fit the RTT mounting bolt locations. Maybe even thin rubber strips as isolator between the RTT and the rack.
I'm in the market for a roof top tent to put in on the bed rack, so far so easy, besides the usually challenges to perform all the market research and comparison.
Now the real challenge, the annex! I want to use the annex as sleep area as additional sleeping area for one, or even two in a...
Naaa, you're not the only one who read the Jeep manual from cover to cover. Was my reading material the first evening. My GF was making fun of me, complaining that I never read her instruction manual.
I was going online almost every day to check when I can order the 4xE to replace my JKU with +205k miles on it. And of course I missed the day Jeep finally added to their site. ??‍♂️
Premium soft top only. As it was a custom order anyway to get the diesel I got it with the soft top. Absolutely no regrets!
Had the dual tops on the JKU and was driving 90% of the year with the soft top, and it was a pain in neck to store the sunrider hard top in the garage, plus it was always...
