I had the same, the dealer was looking wide eyed when I was popping the hood and pushed on all fuses before taking ownership, and sure thing a few notably clicked into place.

I stand corrected, somehow I got mixed up. Somewhere in regards to the JTD somebody was mentioning the Mojave hood for better cooling the diesel for towing in the summer time.

Don't forget the interior, I truly dig the gray leather with the orange accent stitching, and the hood with a functioning scoop - sure, can all be obtained aftermarket :)

Yeah, I had the same issues a year ago. U-Haul didn't wanted to let me reserve a trailer online for my JKU when I selected softtop, changed it to hardtop and everything was fine. The guys at the U-Haul store didn't care.

I wish they had the Gorilla Glass when I ordered my JTRD in 2020.

I have a JTRD with the factory steel bumper and the distance from the axel to the frame (same spot your started) is 12" for me. So far I didn't had issues with bottoming out and roads in my area are rough.

The 4xE with the diesel engine would be nice.
