Back in the covid days the original owner had to buy the uncoated version and did a DIY coating. Still adheres well but wearing. Transitioned to a cap so no longer use.
With mounts for bed track.
Can an awning be attached to the drop rack? (ARB).
Is the weight capacity the same as the standard rack?
Gladiator dimension, L - 51.18, W - 51.18, H - 5.5
Would a longer one work ? L - 59.45, W - 51.18, H - 5.51
I hear a popping sound from the sway bar disconnect when i rock the jeep side to side. Recently installed front 2” lift with lower control arms but have retightened twice.
Drove from North Carolina to Arizona with no issues. Started on a dirt road in Kanab. Jeep has 60k miles on it and sway...
So after 40k miles getting a little bouncier than I like.
There seems to have been a lot of people that were going with the Clayton 1.5 leveling kit and Icon 1.5 triple rate springs in the back. At least some early shock recommendations seem to be Bilstein 5100's.
I usually run at max payload...
Was camping the Smokies a couple of weekends ago and the campground required that portable showers have a catch basin. They are probably more worried about odors from dish cleaning but it started me looking online, apparently the Australians are still leading the way. I know there are some DIY...
I bought these last year and they have done fairly well.
If I need more capacity I just series them. Of course $249 is the regular price at Lowes and they also have the case for $39.
Planning on calling or emailing today to get the 8" Billiebar brackets (should have waited, have the 5") but have an additional question...
I would like to keep my RTT low on bars but have an awning up a little higher. There is a video on youtube showing your RTT brackets for that purpose, just...
Has anyone bought out their lease early?
I have about 10 months left on the lease and plan on keeping it so though I would by it out early. Math works out so that it makes sense but the dealer we went to (Chrysler is the lease holder) has started adding all sorts of costs. Some seem reasonable...
We took a side road to Tower Arch in Arches National Park last month. It turned out to be a little more than I expected to find in a national park (I have done Medano Pass in Great Sand Dunes and Black Gap at Big Bend, a little more technical than either of those).
I have not seen a lot on...
My new oracle lights are putting out an uneven pattern? Is this unusual? It appears to be coming from both bulbs (still there when I block one). Very Defined on hard surface .
So the Browning WSPBR1015 Enclosed NMO 3/4 Hole Mount cable Topsy recommends has been in "Preparing to Ship" limbo with amazon for over a week now. The cable that came with my MXT275 kit (MXTA34?) does not like the 3/4" opening in the mount. Any one have a recommendation on a non-amazon source...
Brand new set. Going a different direction from camping in the tent so don't really need them anymore.
Located in Charlotte, no longer have the boxes so shipping is not really an option.
Local shop has a used one. Seems pretty heavy for what it is, but looks well built. I would attach to the roof so the weight is an issue since I am using thule gutter mounts.
They are asking $650 but have had it for a while....
Thought I would pass it on for others that may not have known.
On the USFS interactive map site you can download gps referenced pdf maps (for Avenza etc). Seem to work better than the MVUM.
I have a stock JTR, would like a set of chains for a winter trip to Colorado. Use here in NC would be rare so looking for the most economical but not the cheapest option that will keep me safe and meet requirements of local authorities.
thanks
The consensus seems to be that there may be some improvement on the way the gladiators handle weight in the back with the max tow suspension versus the stock Rubicon suspension. Has anyone swapped the max tow springs in for their Rubi Springs? Did it help?
Really disappointed with the way mine...
