Not just for his age, but for all ages!
My neighbor was telling me just the other day that she's never been outside WA & OR!
We've been many of the places you have, and hope to be.
But we do it on a big boat.
And congratulations on driving to Ushuaia! What an achievement!
Once again, we've been...
78k here, and just considering it. Over 90% of my miles are highway/freeway driving, no overheating, no towing, and a handful of times at rated payload.

Keep in mind that it's a Federal offense to make any changes to the factory exhaust system, as it's considered a unit from an emissions standpoint.
Just sayin'

You'll be OK with the 15A fused circuit.
The fuse is there to protect the wiring, so 15A won't be overkill. Just connect the lights and don't mess with the fuse.

A pickup headed the other way flipped up a rock. On pavement.
The one before this (the first Gorilla Glass) was smacked by a large stone from between a set of duals on a dump truck as I was overtaking.

Studies have been done. The fuel savings is in the 5% to 7% range.
And the second battery is just one way of implementing ESS. Other manufacturers use a single battery.
And the starter motor is supposedly designed to handle the additional start cycles.

To add some further information...
I purchased the 75K mile extended warranty, and paid ~$2k for it.
I used it a couple times for minor things; mostly I got it for peace of mind.
Now, at 74,500 miles, I asked about extending it to 100K miles, and was quoted ~$5K!
I'm not paying that for peace of...
One helluva BANG!
This was a replacement HGP Gorilla Glass windshield.
It was replaced by windshield number 5: a normal glass one for half the price.
Dammit...
Kevin
You don't really want to do that, as the rubber floor mat won't fit properly if you have a plug already in the hole. Also, it won't drain properly, either.
Kevin
This is actually an option: you can buy kits for this.
You just need to have room in the taillight housing for an additional bulb/socket.
It does however leave your license plate light & marker lights out...

I wired my own harness for the JT.
I've got a wireless taillight transmitter tucked away behind the front bumper, and +12V & ground also.
I used a coiled cord with 7 conductors, putting a 7-pin connector on the RV end, and a 6-pin round connector on the Jeep end, thereby keeping the connector on...
When the oil life monitor tells me to. That's what its there for, after all.
Most of my driving is highway/freeway, and I don't regularly commute.
The oil life monitor typically takes me to nearly 10,000 miles.
