The fact that they still offer manual windows, manual locks, manual mirrors and a manual transmission is why I like it so much. At least they know there are some people who don't want to pay for things that are useless to them.
Who cares? I don't intend of having any reason to go back there. All my tools would be in the bed and I'll have a shelf in the back to hold groceries or other stuff or it can sit in the passenger seat floor.
I don't plan on having company in the back either unless for a trip and the doors will...
I'm getting a base Sport. I don't want to waste extra money on stuff that I don't need.
Plus crank windows are cool. I'll still try to aftermarket wire a heated steering wheel and heated seats. I just don't want to pay for the other stuff.
Ultimately I rather go without the heated stuff than...
I'm pretty much sold on it unless it is terrible to drive. It is the only union built truck I can buy with a manual transmission (Ram HD just dropped the manual option off the Cummins).
However I will wait because I really want to hold on and see if the diesel will eventually get a manual or...
Between the truck clusterf**k of Dakota, Gladiator and Ram there is no reason I would consider a Dakota. The Dakota will be too constrained to not step too many toes. It will inevitably but it is more like as few as possible.
Agreed I love what the Rubicon offers performance wise but I hate the shouty attitude about it. I'm not 8 years old I don't want silly loud colors and exterior trinkets everywhere. The best part is that you're gonna pay for that stuff even if you want to remove it later.
Someone said it before...
FCA: Hey 2 door Gladiator people we didn't forget you.
2 door Gladiator people: YES! YES!
*FCA reveals Dakota*
2 door Gladiator people: *bursts into laughter*
FCA: What's so funny?
2 door Gladiator people: Does the doors come off?
FCA: No
2 door Gladiator people: Does the windshield fold...
I would love that because I want the crank windows on the Sport. I'm not a fan of power windows but the Rubicon has so much off road stuff that it would ultimately be expensive just to rebuild a Rubicon when aftermarket is probably the most financially sound direction with a Sport.
It will be a sales flop and Jeep will wonder how come no one is buying one? Maybe because you confined yourself to one cookie cutter missionary position style for an "expensive, intentionally so" price and you provide a faux sense of individuality with a couple of shiny colors which of...
So you do care good for you. ;)
Anyways, no without the Rubicon badge it doesn't look like it is 60k. It just looks like a Jeep with bigger tires on it. I am different. I'm not cookie cutter so I get that I can't get things in line with my thinking.
I don't need badges. I like to enjoy its...
