For those of you that visit the OBX, you may enjoy this. Gonna post on the general forum too. https://obxjeepinvasion.com
  2. 22s on 37s on the beach?

The county has an air down law. If you get stuck and weren't aired down you can be given a ticket. They patrol the beach regularly. Folks not airing down, getting stuck and disrupting the traffic flow was such an issue, the law was created. Too bad it had to come to this.
  3. 22s on 37s on the beach?

With your tire width, you won't have to air down as much. Maybe drop it to mid 20's to be on the safe side. The sand in Carova is not too bad, but can be rutted up by the amount of traffic in the summer. I've seen two wheel drive vehicles make the trip up and down during low tide. On...
  4. Gas mileage on sand in four-wheel-drive mode?

Top off before you get to your camping spot. You'll be fine. Enjoy!
  5. Jeep Enthusiasm Waning

I can completely understand how you feel @FLUndertaker. The wife and I love to camp, but only seem to go about 4 times a year. She actually said something about selling our fifth wheel. I hate the thought of it. Dearly love getting away, but not using it often is making me think about...
  6. MOPAR A-Pillar bracket side light.

We use that type of light on almost all of our fire apparatus. They definitely have ones that are made for exterior use. Completely sealed.
  7. Seat Tilt / Seat Jackers

Mine is an automatic, but after a few months of using them, I am very glad I installed them. Much more comfortable angle.
  8. Truck starts on its own.

Maybe try placing the fob in a bag of dry rice. It helps draw out moisture.
  9. Extended warranty deals

I got an online quote from Ziegler, and my dealer beat it by $100 on both my Gladiator and a diesel Ram.
  10. iphone car mount

Check out Offroam phone mounts. Rock solid and aren't bulky or sticking out of the top of the dash.
  11. Your “Other Vehicles” and passions

Sadly, I don't drive the Gladiator as often as this one. Then there's these. And this.
  12. Bed Cover Preference: Roll Up or Flip Up, and Why?

I've had three types on several trucks. For best access to the bed, my favorite is a roll up. For overall looks and security, I like a hard, one piece lift-up style. The 3 piece folding is ok, and what I have on our Gladiator. The wife wanted that one, so...
  13. Warranty hardtop replacement

This might be a question for your servicing dealer.
  14. Cigarette Lighter Removal

Perhaps a marine supply may have a round switch that's the right diameter.
  15. Oracle Lighting Playing Reindeer Games

@TroutFishingInAmerica do you have an update on the install? Did the lights and harness work for you?
  16. Recent UConnect update?

I've had that happen on my Ram's U Connect too. Worth a shot to re-pair the device.
  17. Sunk it but winched out

Be on the safe side and change the fluids. You'll sleep better at night. :)
  18. Is there a stubby antenna available that doesn't suck?!

The frequency range for FM requires a longer antenna than what you may see on vehicles with VHF, UHF, 800 radios. However, stubby type antennas do give some reception, especially when your closer to towers. Go with what you like. It's your ride!
  19. Favorite color you didn’t buy…

Have a white one, off of the lot, but would love to have a Snazzberry (can't get past calling it snozzberry )
