That quote is way high. I found this site through a Ram forum for Mopar extended warranty. I got a quote for my Ram and my dealer beat the quote. Just did the same thing for my JT (however it is a gas motor on the JT) Take a look. It could save you some money if you decide to go that route...
I just put a Mopar Max Care warranty on the JT through the dealership. He beat the Ziegler price by almost $100. You can price plans on this website. Quote Process : ChryslerFactoryPlans.com There is a Lift fee if it has a Mopar lift up to 4", but it's covered too.
I also put one on my Ram...
Welcome from Eastern North Carolina. Lots of great information and resources on this forum.
Our's was delivered from the dealer with a Mopar lift, Black Rhino wheels and 35's. I added a MBRP cat back exhaust, bed mat, folding tonneau cover (waiting for delivery) and an OffRoam phone mount.
I ordered a Ram in May. It was built in a reasonable time, but it sat in the rail yard in Petersburg, VA for almost a month waiting to be trucked. Got it in August. Not much that Jeep / Dodge can do about that part.
Traveling down the road yesterday, the right side BSM light came on and stayed on, even though there was no cars near me. Two lane road and almost no traffic. Stopped about 15 minutes later to get gas. When I started back up, all was well. About 20 minutes later, both BSM lights came on and...
Put on a MBRP cat back dual exhaust. Fairly simple install. I think it looks nice, and it added a little tone to the exhaust. Had a similar set up on a Wrangler, and missed the subtle exhaust sound. (lighting wasn't the best for the pic)
Just a personal observation from a few years of experience. Selling to a private party can be a challenge. Pretty sure your JT is worth more than a new stock one, but few folks can strike a check for the whole amount. Most lenders won't consider add-ons in what they'll finance privately...
That's the lift I have on our Sport S, with the max tow. Rides great and plenty of clearance for the 35's. Had the same style lift on an 18 Wrangler And was happy with that one as well.
Yep, you beat me to it for the NC specifics. Except that the 3% is on the purchase price for a vehicle with no trade, or 3% of the difference with a trade. And property taxes collected at renewal vary wildly by location.
Have a small annoyance with the rear camera on our new Gladiator. When it is activated, regardless of moving or sitting still, the camera is "jittery". I can't think of another word to describe it. Seems like it is getting some type of electrical interference that makes the picture jiggle...
Wanted to chime in about the Offroam phone mount. Read a few reviews and did a little research and ordered the complete kit, with vent mount, arm and phone holder. Very pleased with the quality and thought put into this product. Apparently the phone holder is more user friendly than the first...
I've had lots of new vehicles over the years. Only paid sticker on one, and that was in 09, when the new body 2010 Camaro came out. Paying sticker hurt my feelings, but other dealerships were charging over sticker, some well over, so all in all I didn't feel like I was gouged.
I just got a 21...
