I found a video demonstration the removal of the soft top on the JL
My questions are:
1) Is removing the hard top easier or harder than this?
2) Do you think the JT will have a similar level of effort for completely removing the soft top?
I'm driving myself crazy with deciding which to...
This is old news mate, another huge thread about it already.
But if you can't get the pricing to show you absolutely need to clear your internet cash free of any Jeep.com cookies.
Got the email too.
If I could get 7% under dealer invoice on the Launch Edition I would do it today.
Launch edition is $62k, My guess is dealer in voice is like $59k? So if I could order it for $55k I would today. My goes was to be at $50k but that's starting look like a pipe dream.
Is he taking orders already or is that from his current allotment? I'm definitely interested if that's part of his current allotment, can you send me the dealer info please?
Looks like my build is going to come to $58235. At this rate I might as well opt for Launch edition.
Anyway, my question is, for those of you who on or have driven the JL for a fair amount, what is your opinion on the Active Safety group and the Adaptive Cruise Control and Forward Collision...
Looks like $35k - $62k is the range, which is a little above what we had hoped for but not terribly so. Definitely priced higher than the competitors. Just curious to hear if any of you are deterred by the price and are going to hold off now?
I’ve got some sticker shock on the Launch edition...
I think Mercedes is the trademark holder on the words "Keyless Go" so my guess is the window sticker is from a Merc. It has been edited though to include some non-merc items.
Okay, I've ready about 4 threads end to end now on this diesel debate.
I've never owned a diesel car. All my cars are ridiculously fast upto now (10-13 second cars) and even though I know the Jeep isn't meant to be a fast vehicle, all things being the same, I prefer to have faster acceleration...
Thanks for that thread. If that is even nearly true then it'll be months before I can get my color. Might as well pick a new color I guess. Red seems okay.
Any speculation on the diesel release date? Do we know exactly which diesel motor they'll go with? The prospects of a high-torque diesel...
I would be okay with ordering before pricing is released as long as I can order Diesel and the colors I want. But both those things are "Late Availability" which sucks. They can't make your buy a truck you can't afford.
As for pricing, as an outsider, I do feel that Jeep has a lot of room in...
As much as I’m dying to place my order ASAP, the colors I want are all late availability colors.
Also, I’d much prefer the diesel but of course that’s late availability too.
For those of you who were around for the JL release, how long did “late availability” turn out to be? Are we talking...
Does anyone know if this sort of affiliate purchase program is available from other manufacturers as well or is it unique to FCA?
I would hate to find out that I've been missing out on thousands of dollars of discounts on past car purchases.
My script didn't detect that change.
I'm considering writing a more detailed version of it that looks at every page on the site for changes just in case ... But then I actually have a fulltime job to attend to also ;) Priorities ...
What is Tread Lightly Discount? (from JLWF)
The Tread Lightly Discount / The Affiliate Rewards Program guarantees a buyer preferred pricing -- the purchase or lease of a participating Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, Dodge, SRT, and Fiat vehicle at 1% below factory invoice price. Of course, using this...
Is anyone familiar with a West Coast dealer (California, Nevada, Arizona) who will do below invoice?
I don't mind ordering from other parts of the country and just paying for delivery, but it would be nice to be within 500 mile so I can just go pick it up and drive it.
