Thank you so much for posting this link! I hated the idea of making my own sheet metal sleeves while in the middle of this suspension swap. These will make the swap so much faster and easier!
Cheers!
The Lag persists when using steering wheel buttons, center console buttons, or the screen itself. It involves all features that run through the screen, which is pretty much everything.
My driver display between the speedo and tach has zero lag, however, and works flawlessly via steering wheel...
If I trade it in, it certainly won't be another Jeep. The quality issues I've had are pretty staggering. That being said, I love this truck and don't want to give up on it. Also, if I purchased the extended warranty, that would have cost me about the same $ as a new head unit so.....
Yessir, I tried both. Tried unmarrying my tazer as well, does the same thing. After updating the tazer, still the same problem.
I think it needs a software update badly, as my version is 19.11.4d but I don't know if that can be done myself, or if I need to take it into the dealership... but...
I think I seed a software update, but I don't want to go to my dealership. The uConnect website says my VIN doesn't have an update available, but I'm sure its wrong, because in dealer mode I was able to find that my software versions is: 19.11.4d
Is there any way to force the update myself? Or...
I've got a 2020 manual transmission 8.4" screen Rubicon with 57,000km. When the truck is first started, the screen functions normally the way it did when it was new, and there is only about a half second lag. Unfortunately, as it warms up, the lag gets worse and worse, and affects all functions...

Thank you and everyone else for this info! I have had excellent experiences with Eibach springs in sportscars, so I've been really ntrigued by these.
I have been running a crappy Daystar 2" lift kit with my factory fox Rubicon shocks for 3.5 years now (got my JT way back in 2019!). Paired with...
The rubber seals they used the the Gen 2 caps are a 2 piece bulb style. As far as I can tell the water was going into the seal through the metal-rubber portion and inside the cap through the bottom. I took photos and sent them to RLD and Adventure ready, but no fix was offered.
I wouldn't...
Finally got my RoofNest Condor XL mounted! Was a serious painin the A## having to reseal my windows. The gen 2 window rubbers leak in the PNW climate, had to use Sikaflex to lay beads around the windows, which looks awful. But that meant removing the canopy again.
Overall, after over a year on...
A set of Mojave shocks and springs came up for sale here locally for a decent price, $700. I'm seriously tempted, but they don't look that much bigger than the Rubicon shocks in your photo. I think id rather keep my rubicon springs. Have you done the fronts yet? Is it worth it or should i keep...
Were the rubicon shock bolts much smaller than the Mojave? Did you have to replace the hardware? Did the shock bushings fit okay in the mounts?
I found some Mojave suspension locally for a decent price, really considering pulling the trigger.
I saw this too, So I went with a Curt Spectrum off Amazon. Lowest price I could find, including adapter. I had been waiting for the Mopar unit but was underwhelmed. And I don't want to give up the 12V socket, I like it for high powered device charging without activating Carplay. I'm going to...
I just ordered the controller and cable off Amazon for the best price I could find in Canada. Fingers crossed, I'll post my results when I get it installed.
Might need to get the reflash from the dealer if it doesn't work properly. I do my own maintenance (as a mechanic myself) so mine hasn't...
Has anyone else had issues with least windows? My seals catch water and it comes inside bothe the front and tailgate windows, making little puddles. And the I get condensation on the inside of the canopy and difficulty seeing out my windows.
I'm not impressed with the idea of having to silicon...
Appreciate the video and information. I've got a 2020 Manual JTR and I had been waiting for the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller. I was about to order it, except in the fine print it says "for Automatic Transmissions only"
The Curt is less expensive, I can mount it wherever I want, and I won't...
I wonder if this will work for my 2020 JTR manual transmission. I thought I wanted to factory trailer brake controller but now I don't want to lose my 12V socket... ugh
I did end up getting my friend to sit up on top while I tightened everything down, it worked great and compressed the seal great. I didn't have to do any cutting or bending or drilling, even with my built right panels in place. Just lots of micro adjustments and messing around. I'm blown away by...
Trail scales, awesome product! They're extra thick and have been amazing for protecting the side of the truck from bush damage and pin stripes. The graphic i chose, you can chose Adobe files and they can print whatever you want on the vinyl pieces. I went with clear, to match the colour, it...
