Yep, I'm waiting till mine is showing more symptoms. Its only smelled like burning maybe 3 or 4 times in 10,000km. So I may as well wait till its properly fudged to ensure ill get new parts.
I can't wait to see more of these on Gladiators! There are a lot of things I still like better about the RLD over other cap options. So jealous of you guys picking up your caps this week!!!
Interesting, I have smelled my clutch burning a few times, and I never ride it or abuse it.
I'm torn because on one hand, having a new clutch installed down the road will be like having free wearable items!!! But, now I'm scared to tow an off road trailer and go have an adventure in the Bush...
It would be virtually impossible to have a continuous space front to back due to the nature of truck design. The cab and the truck box move at different rates as the truck flexes over varying surfaces, and would simply destroy any sort of joint over time. Unless you got really fancy like an...
I think the ranger bed must be a lot different than the Gladiator. There aren't really any bolt holes to work with in our platform. But I could be wrong!
But those clamps look really robust and high quality to me. Much better than some clamps I've seen out there.
Thanks for starting this thread! I'm really excited about your product. I just need confirmation that it will work with the soft top and not cause any rubbing when the roof is opened and hanging out of the back. I'm very close to placing an order!
Also curious about the smart kitchen, is the...
I think RSI and RLD are the same company? Or sister companies?
I honestly can't decide which one I like more. But I wont pull the trigger on either until I get confirmation about whether this these or any canopy will work with the soft top without rubbing/rattling/contacting.
Here are some...
I ended up ordering the Mopar 2" lift sway bar end links from Quadratec for the front end for $30 each. Cheap to restore confidence in my front end. I measured the stock Rubicon rear end links and they're the exact same length as the garbage daystar ones, so I will just run them as is. So all my...
Just installed the Daystar 2 inch lift in my Gladiator this weekend. I got it because I also just wanted something to tie me over until more lift kit options become available, to clear 37s (especially with my heavy warn winch upfront) and get some life out of the factory Rubicon Fox shocks...
That list is very helpful, thank you. I'm installing a simple Daystar level kit and they included instructions say "torque to factory specification", but couldn't be bothered to list the specs.
Only just unboxed the product and I'm already regretting having to wait for a big boy real lift kit...
This is back in front of the other options for me! Much closer to matching the trucks vertical window lines.
I still want to see one with an open soft top to make sure they're isn't contact, but I want the Gen 2 badly!
You're doing it terribly wrong... but hey it's your clutch, burn it if you want.
Onebigyoshi that was me. I stand by my teachings. I'm a mechanic, I know how these things work, I've raced dozens of cars and built dozens more. I see people drive their manuals wrong all the time. What you're...
I am still incredibly happy with my magnaflow rock crawler exhaust. Perfect volume, no drone on the highway, pairs super nicely with the manual transmission. I also run the hard top without any padding. I cant imagine that the pads would block an audible difference of decibels, but lots of...
Adjustable would be kind of cool, but for $406 USD delivered from a Black Friday sale? I'm incredibly pleased!
Plus the weight savings are considerable. Will help to offset my beefy rockhard rails
