That's a good question actually. There isn't a wiper, so it's just for defrost which wouldn't be as hard to just diy wire up, but u likely wouldn't have the factory defrost button
I do like that Ford is offering the automatic emergency braking as a standard feature, haven't checked all the other manufacturers yet. But this day n age, that just seems like it should be a standard safety feature on every new vehicle. With the Gladiator, they force you to pay for 2 separate...
This all just makes it harder for me to commit to anything.. Maybe I should just wait until they make corrections in future model years like they did on the JK
All electric seems like a bad way to go for the next decade or two. Your freedom is severely restricted by charging accessibility and time to charge. Hybrids at least offer some versatility. For a "pickup truck" versatility is the name of the game. Guarantee you don't make it very far hauling or...
I mean, this is pure speculation since this is a completely new vehicle (not even remotely close to old gladiator). You're assuming the gladiator will hold value like a Wrangler does. We won't know if that's true until a few years down the road after the demand levels out and all the common...
I'd keep in mind that there will almost certainly be some aftermarket hardtops that fully replace the existing one and extend over the entire bed. So a massive interior storage space is coming.
What I wonder is if it's possible to cut out the section between rear seats and bed, so you could...
Did you shop around for other loans? Dealer financing interest rate tends to be significantly higher than the best loans for me. Where you lose far more money on the loan interest than that extra 1% invoice off gets you.
Ha, loud as hell. Get a hardtop if you want to to talk. Even with the hardtop its a good deal noisier than just about any other vehicle. That's just the price you pay for removable top/windshield/doors + the anti-aerodynamic vehicle shape... and if you get giant tires with aggressive tread...
I don't think anyone here knows for sure. When did you place your order?
I did some rough math over the weekend and it looked like 3 months to build if you placed your order this past weekend.
Nah, can confirm JK hardtop buffeting/reverberation right now. Seems to coincide with the seals not aligned quite right. There's a correlation between times when my freedom panels leak while braking and the buffeting. I think it's the airflow from rear forward that causes the situation. Just...
Think I answered my own question. EVOs website lists a bumper that is for all three: JK/JL/JT, so it looks like you can port your old wrangler bumpers to the JT. Emailed them to confirm though.

Any of you early buyers taken off/ replace your front bumper yet? EVO might be the people to ask
I saw that the JK bumpers fit the JL, so I was hoping these would also fit the JT so I could just use my current JK steel bumper on the JT :)
So just some conservative math here:
if they take a year to produce 100,000, that about (100k/12month) 8,500 completed per month
and if they already have 25,000 orders not yet started to complete
you're looking at a lead time of (25k/8.5k) 3 months to build your gladiator if you place your...
