For side step rock rails, check out the Rock Slide Engineering step sliders:

They're on the higher side of price for steps, however that 12" drop down step is worth every penny, especially if...
The RSE steps definitely bring in the possibility of mechanical issues, but they are the best drop down step out there and the only one that doubles as a slider. Kids and wives love them.
The pivot points need to be lubed every now and then. It's one of those things, do the maintenance and...
According to the Magnussen-Moss Act (1974), you can use aftermarket filters and the dealer cannot deny your warranty, unless they are claiming that somehow the filter wasn't up to OE specs.
That said, it's all in the dealer's hands. They can find a way to deny a warranty on almost anything, if...
That's it, a 202, so it doesn't have all the electrics that come on a modern day JT..... 😄
It's a 2020, I blame my blazing fast single finger typing for the mistake! 🤣
I did a thing over the weekend.....
I told the manager of Olympia Jeep that they had some burned out lights....
😄
That was after buying a new-to-me 2020 White Rubicon JT.
Yep.... and all of this is exactly why we've spent thousands of $$$ to hire sweepstakes companies to run these giveaways for us. They know all the ins and outs and have lawyers on staff that make sure every i is crossed and t is dotted.
Good to see you too buddy.
BTW to everyone else.... Don't let those kind words fool anyone.... I may be OK, but Matt there is AWESOME. It is literally his middle name! 😂
This was my JK when I first bought it. The dealer had installed the angry eyes to help it sell (near a military base).
The sales guys couldn't believe we wanted the OE grill.... AND...It had the OE white grill back on it before we left the dealer lot.... ?
Just heard from sales, as of this morning, all back orders are filled and we have a couple hundred Warn VR EVO10s on the shelf.
??? - Yes, you heard that right, a couple hundred Warn VR EVO10 winches currently on the shelf. So if'n you want one, get cracking and get yours on order before these...
Quoting @willys 41:
Baxter's video of the oil draining back down after 35 minutes:
That's for those who don't want to wait the 35+ minutes after shutting down the engine for the oil to drain down. That's it, speed and convenience, nothing more, nothing less.
You're thinking that because...
The 3.6 isn't different than other engines. Many other engines also do not have an anti-drain back system. Instead they rely on a high volume oil pump to flood the engine with oil within seconds of starting. For the Pentastar 3.6, it takes about 3.5 seconds for the engine to get up to operating...
I got word back from our guy at Jeep, he says he believes the retainers are the same between the narrow track and wide track axles regardless of the bearing size.
He did confirm the wheel bearing difference and actually clarified it a little:
All narrow track rear JL axles use the smaller...
There are a couple issues here.
It is a possible that Dana mistakenly put the wrong bearing retainers on those shafts.
The other issue is, even if the retainer would fit, the bearings would likely be wrong.
From my notes:
All Sport JLs Both the M200 (D35) & the M220 (D44) rear axle uses set...
I've got two of those, we absolutely love them! Got 'em because they fold up fairly small for how comfortable they are.
