Enjoy the Jeep! I believe you’ll have to install the CAI. At least that is what the situation was when I ordered my JT in December 2020. I chose not to order the CAI because of that reason.
2021 JTR, RSE side steps with skids, Factory steel front bumper with Warn 10S winch and mounting plate, UWS tool box with approximately 200 lbs of tools, 2.5” Clayton Overland +, 315/70R 17 tires.
20.25” to the lowest point on the hitch.
17.5” to the lowest point on the front skid.

I misread your post. The spread between my crossbars is 44”. My kayaks are 14’. When secured with straps to the Hullavators and bow and stern lines, they are rock solid. I have thought about what you are trying to do as well in order to reduce the distance the kayaks extend past the back of...
I have two sets of Hullavators on a Yakima Overhaul rack with 60” HD crossbars. 60” is needed if the two kayaks being hauled are the maximum width the Hullavators can handle. Less than 60” would work if your kayaks were not the maximum width. I am not sure on the exact measurements but could...
Search Jamdon Gear
Search JamdonGear on Etsy. They also have a similar housing for the 50amp anderson plug. Mine is the housing for the 175amp plug. If you decide to mount through the bumper as I did, be aware that the outer surface of the bumper is plastic, but the inner part is steel and...
I posted this in another thread. I hope this helps you out.
This month I installed the Warn winch, the wiring and Anderson plugs for the DC to DC Ctek 250SA/120S charging setup in the tent trailer, and the two 500 amp continuous duty solenoids (controlled by the Aux dash switches) that direct...
I have the same noise under the same circumstances on my 2021 JTR. Mine is just audible and sounds similar to the noise when I use Select Speed Control.
A simple approach is attach the winch leads directly to the battery, and then disconnect the positive lead when you don’t want power running to the winch.
In the past (2019), I had two Warn power interrupt solenoids malfunction in another application. I have not heard of any other failures of the Warn solenoid, so this may be a very isolated problem. However, given that history, I decided to avoid the Warn power interrupt solenoid this time...
I wanted to be able to quickly and completely charge the batteries (2 6v in series) in my trailer while driving a few hours from campsite to campsite while also running the refrigerator on 12v power. The solution for me was to install a Ctek 250SA/120S DC to DC charging unit in the trailer. 1...
