I picked up a Wrangler because I did so much to my JT that it just isn’t a practical daily driver anymore. Now just used mainly for camping, fishing, offraoding.
Ok so I had the dealer do the work. Now after talking with the mechanic he said he adjusted the rear axel with the OEM rear track bar. He said that this is as high as I can lift my JT without having to change out a bunch of parts. Technically is he right? For what I do I think I’ll be alright...
Well the 2.5” Clayton springs went in along with my Daytar 3/4” spacers. I’ll have to order shock extensions brackets front and rear along with longer front Swaybar links. Other than that it drives fine.
I am currently running the Mopar 2” lift with Daystar 3/4” coil spacers. The lift itself is good but if I had to do it again I’d piece it out. Order everything except for the Mopar coils. Mine have sagged quite a bit in one year’s time. There plenty of companies that offer HD, dual rate, triple...
Worth having? Define worth having first.
Does anybody need a JT? No. Do JT owners need them? Nope. Most of us just buy things we want. A JT (my opinion) is merely a toy.
