Thanks,
I had KO2's on my JK and for the most part they worked well....I was kinda looking for something a little more aggressive looking and with better rain performance. While I thought the BFGs were ok in rain...I did have hydroplaning more than I thought I should. Florida ice is not fun.
Had pretty much decided on BAJA BOSS ATs for tire upgrade....however...35s do not seem to be available anywhere near me anytime soon. I would really prefer to stick with Discount as they have always done well by me when it came to tire and tire installs. But looks like could be some time...
I was off a tad in math...Door says 37.
Formula came out to 28. (Tire rating 2755@50. weight 6252)
So diff of 9.
I have been running them @35PSI which is what I roughly got with chalk test.
Well...first the ESS stopped working....and the instrument cluster would show "Auto Start/Stop disabled...battery charging"...but would never change even after hours of driving...then eventually when I started the vehicles the cluster would show something about "Aux switch disabled...battery...
I find it hard to believe that the engine going on and off while I wait and creep at a long traffic light is somehow good for anything...including engine/starter component wear and my wallet.
That and less than 2 years in...ive already had to deal with battery issues related to the ESS battery.
Did some youtubing and googling...really liking those Baja ATs. Probably looking at Feb/Mar before I can buy tires so plenty of time to look around more. Thanks.
Really not pleased with OE Falken MTs.....barely gonna get 30k out of them and they are getting louder and louder every day. I...
I am going to have to get new tires sometime soon after the new year for my still stock JTR.
I would like to go with 35s....as well as perhaps a budget lift (~2-2.5).
I really do not want to have to get new wheels. Seems to be 50/50 consensus if this is possible without rub. :)

For past few weeks I notice my Auto Stop/Start has not been working. Didn't really think about it cause I hate it....but decided to look on the instrument cluster and it shows: "
Stop/Start Not Ready-Battery Charging
"
I would think about 1h of driving it would have charged but message...
I don't even bother having the MPG display or indicators up on the screen. I "calculate" MPG a few times a year to get an idea but don't really worry about. Its a Jeep....if I cared the least beat about MPG I would not have gotten a Jeep.
I ran spacers on my JK for 10yrs without any issue. Getting ready to replace the OE tires on my JTR and will be doing the same thing if need be. First, Ill just try 35's without spacers and see how it does.
Its not matter of the amount is the existence.
Pro America, I would charge more for the Chinese...or better yet only sell the American made.
Just seems like taking advantage of the good nature of people wanting to support American made by charging more for it.
That said....seems silly to...
