Has anyone put wheel spacers on their Gladiator and have any issues? I like my OEM wheels, I’d just like them to stick out a little bit unless I’m going to damage the Jeep. Also, does it effect the truck about the same as a set of wheels that would stick out the same amount? TIA

You just need to get quality (Bora/Spidertrax) hubcentric spacers. The spacers need to be just longer than the wheel studs(lugs) I believe 1.5 inches is minimum. I have run them with zero problems. People have been running wheel spacers for lots of years without issues. Most likely when issues have occurred it has been caused by improper installation or the wrong application.

As mdyucca posted .. many have run for many years.. Get Quality Spacers AND Locktite Torque / check & Re-Torque regularly. Anytime you increase the track width, you increase load on the balljoints-same is wheels with b/spacing different than factory.. You can expect more "follow the roadway" contours too.

So the effects of spacers would be the same as wheels with the same back spacing? That’s what I was thinking as well.

I ran spacers on my JK for 10yrs without any issue. Getting ready to replace the OE tires on my JTR and will be doing the same thing if need be. First, Ill just try 35's without spacers and see how it does.
