I have handhelds also. The handhelds are like 5 watts and these are 50. You don’t have to worry about if they are charged or not. Handhelds are ok if you are close by but when you have some distance between you the there’s no comparison.

I installed a Midland 575 and ghost antenna on my Gladiator the other day and just wanted to share where i mounted it. I havent seen one mounted there before but im sure someone has. I mounted it using hose clamps to the passenger seat adjuster and i used a Quadratec Light mount for the antenna.

Its OEM i have a pic of it when it came off the truck. I did ask the dealer and they were unsure as to what it was. 3 other Rubicons and 1 Sport on the lot also had them.
