They won't cover it anyways. The warranty covers defects, not stuff breaking like mounts that will be attributed to modifications. Mopar lift or other you break a mount, it's not covered. The Mopar lift is covered under the Mopar warranty, aka the parts themselves are covered, they are not...
I do, the wife's 4xe tows great, other than its not quite as long of a wheel base as the gladiator. When the gladiator 4xe comes out i'll be looking at one for sure.
I mean I guess if the warranty on springs and shocks matters to you that much then maybe it's worth it. That's really all you are preserving with the Mopar lift components but even then once you add in all the other stuff how much are you going to have that's not covered anyways?
I fixed this on my Dad's jk with 120k miles and 7 years of daily. It wasn't that bad, took about 2 hours as you said, just park it where you don't mind dropping about 2qts of oil on the floor.
He grabbed the dorman filter and just used the sensors it came with.
Don't confuse a throttle remapper with something like a tazer or jscan. A pedal mapper just changes the amount of gas you are giving it when you hit the pedal, aka from the factory 10% pedal movement might actually only be 5% throttle, but with the box you get 10 or 15 or 20% throttle for that...
Uh, regearing means opening the diffs and swapping the gears, not just changing it in the tazer/jscan. Your post made it seems like you think you just need to swap between the numbers but that's not true.
Swap the numbers for the tires so the speedo is right, the gear ratio needs to match...
Have you seen yours flex or just the videos? When they switched to the iron boxes that frame flex went away so you most likely won't gain anything, I know I didn't and instead just removed the brace once the bearing went bad.
I'd get your caster to 6 degrees or just under, then decide if you...
Do you plan on lifting and bigger tires? Go Rubicon since you are replacing the Mojave suspension anyways. Do you off road over obstacles at lower speeds climbing up things? Go Rubicon. Do you plan on staying basically stock, or small spacer lift and mostly on road? Mojave is better on road. Do...
Spoken like someone who hasn't actually towed anything substantial with the gladiator. I've towed our aliner and now the 23 foot nobo and it does great with a wdh. Only needs a little more power to be really perfect but for 23ish foot trailers under 5-5.5k pounds the gladiator is more than...
Haven't seen the new gen, but my Rubicon with leather fit and finish and especially tech is way better than my neighbors previous gen Tacoma with leather. We both agreed the jeep interior was just so much nicer and premium and the 8.4 made his feel even more dated. Bought precovid and withing a...
I believe they only saw the color in bright cool white artificial lighting where it actually doesnt look bad and were like yeah its a highlighter!
Every other light turns it to that nasty pastelish yellow green
Not sure if it was directed at me, but if it was did you read where I said I was pleasantly surprised by how well it's did lol. I've been driving this slow pig for 3 years and towing for a few of those on the regular so I was actually expecting much worse, instead I found it much better.
