What is a good fuse to tap for an always hot 12V source? I was thinking about using F91 Horn Fuse for a constant HOT source, any negatives to using that fuse?
Old thread I was following, but wanted to provide an update...
with the latest OTA update my off road pages LAT/LONG ALT now work. Previous to the update they only worked above 300Ft ALT apparently.
There are a lot of threads about hardwiring to AUX switches, I am not able to find anything about hard wiring WITHOUT the aux switches. I have found a few threads but not once have I found where anyone posted what fuses they tapped into for the constant 12V and accessory 12V.
Looking through...
Either way buy what YOU want, not the internet.
Agreed, in the end I will get what I want... I can see adv/disadv to both, just looking for different real world perspectives in helping me to make an informed decision. Thanks.
So if you were going to order today, would you go Diesel or Gasser? I am on the fence about trading my Gasser for the Diesel. I feel the torque and extra mpg would be a benefit. I know the extra mpg is not reason enough to trade for the diesel, and I am fully aware of the premium you pay for the...
I installed the clear vinyl piece earlier, in the package it had a 12" strip of cushion tape, I might go ahead and install it, I suppose it cant hurt. Thanks for looking and your reply.
Did you also install the Black Cushion Tape that came with the kit? I just put the vinyl on and am about to tackle putting the winch on, just wondering if anyone used the Black Cushion Tape on the winch to protect the grille a bit more or if it was not needed? Thanks in advance.
A bit late to this thread, but on the MOPAR winch plate there are four sets of holes to mount the winch. One set is for offset drum and one set is for the centered drum. Could be that when you mounted it you used the offset holes vice the centered ones. Just a thought.
AS I understand it, the Fairlead bolts go through the winch plate front area, so that’s why I figured I would have to wait till after I get the winch installed before being able to put the bumper and Fairlead on. Then I came across this on the MOPAR site about winch install directions...
Thats the ones I was thinking to use... it does look like its going to be a tight fit... I did pull the plate as far forward as I could, I cheated by tightening down the fairlead bolts to draw it up close to the bumper. Everything is torqued to spec, Probably over the weekend I might remove the...
I just finished the MOPAR winch plate install, haven't tackled the winch install just yet, but I have a question for those who have installed a WARN ZEON winch, which holes did you use to mount it, since there are four holes, just curious which ones you used for a centered winch. Thanks. Hope...
What position did you put the end link on lightest, middle or tightest, I have the Hellwig as well, but haven't installed it yet. Their website recommends the middle setting, just curious to see what those who installed it have used. thanks.
Yeah, did you notice any major hit when driving with the heavier combo? Are you also stock gears?
I have a set that I am supposed to pick up today or tomorrow.
So figured I would pose the following question about wheel choices... Ultimately I know its user preference, but I am also looking for any real world experience running either of these wheels.
Dirty Life DT-1 9303: 40Lbs, can be ran as beadlocks with additional ring, -12mm offset, 4.53BS...
I used a screwdriver to pry out the metal receiver part where the camera mounts to. They were easy to pop out with a screwdriver and then insert them in the satin grille.
