My dealer told me that the spray-in bedliner wasn't currently available to order, so that could be your issue. It's possible that one or more of those options are restricted right now or something. The order guides for 2023 are supposedly coming out on the 15th, but that's just a rumor. I'll...
Order books haven't even been released for 2023 yet, so it would have to have been a 2022, especially if it was 50 days ago. Seems like BG means something is holding up the order for the scheduling phase. What did you order?
I'm looking at the build and price options on the Jeep website (and the order guides) and I'm somewhat confused. If I were to get a black hardtop, the upcharge over the standard soft top is $1,695. If I were to get a body-colored hardtop, the upcharge is $2,695 - a difference of $1,000. If I...
I think we can all agree that if they could make money doing it, they probably would have done so already. Unfortunately, there are a slew of considerations to make that most people aren't aware of. I'd like to buy a Moab version that has the look of the Rubicon without some of the hardware...
That's a reason many consider the Max Tow, Rubicon, and Mojave. The 4.10s come standard. I wouldn't pick a trim based on one option alone, but the cost to regear in the aftermarket is pretty significant. 4.10s aren't ideal for those looking to upgrade to 35s, but are manageable.
I walked the lot last weekend and spent some time looking at your truck. It's a very nice spec and my two year-old son really liked it. I see you're pretty local, so hopefully I'll see you driving around since I live in Indian Trail. Congrats on the purchase.
Pretty much everyone that gives discounts on Wranglers will do the same for Gladiators. Check this thread out: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/ratberts-dealers-below-invoice-spreadsheet.95841/.
I've been thinking the same thing and just the other day I saw a new Cactus Gray (very similar to Earl) Bronco on bronze wheels. It didn't blow me away, but I didn't hate it either - maybe that's because I'm just not that big a fan of the Bronco.
I'm right there with you. I just want a new color. I'm going to be spending a lot of money on this truck and I don't want it to immediately look like a JT I could have bought two or three years ago.
It looks like Earl is still coming for the 2023 JL, so hopefully, that means it will come for the JT too. I'll be really disappointed though if it's late availability and we have to wait till next year to order.
From what I've seen, all the Gobi and Silver rubicons have come with a gray dash for 2022 at least. Jeeps with the tan leather option all get gray dashes I think.
I wasn't expecting another 2022 order guide, but I'm disappointed in no new colors. I guess I'll be waiting for a 2023 (assuming there are new colors in that model year).
It looks like many (if not all) of the new Gobi rubicons are coming with the gray dash and not the red. The only issue I would see at that point would be the red stitching on the steering wheel, shift boots, possibly the door arm rests, dash, and center console cover.
There was an April order guide, but I don't remember anything changing. No one is going to be able to figure out the differences unless we know what options you picked. Did they give you a price breakdown? The 2023 gladiator will most likely be available to order within the next 6 weeks or so...
Here's to hoping that Earl comes for the 2023 model year. While I cross my fingers and wait, here's a rough photoshop of what a stock Rubicon could look like (how I would order it).
