The gladiator hasn't been produced in High Velocity before. The only "yellow" color ever offered on the gladiator was Nacho and it was a mustard hue.

What do you mean used to look like? That's High Velocity - that's the paint code which was a new color for the 2022 JL. It was never any different color.

Because the build and price option on the website is more for inventory identification. You build on the website and you can find something similar on a lot. They haven't started building 2023s yet, but they did update the JL page within a few weeks, so give it a little time.

There was a six week delay between when the 2023 JL order banks were open and when Earl and Reign were available to order. Odds are, Jeep will do the same with the Gladiator - several weeks from now we'll see new colors (hopefully).

I asked them about the paint on their Facebook page before because I thought it might be Earl, but it was a custom color they had painted on several of their show vehicles. I like the tan, but I think the whole dash needs to match.

I will be ordering Earl and my wife and I just didn't think that red would be the best color contrast with it. I talked with my wife over lunch and showed her pictures of the saddle leather. She seemed to like it, so we may go that route. I'm sure if I ever wanted to swap the leather covers...

I thought about that but wanted to do something custom with the seat material (hence ordering cloth). I'd hate to spend $2k on the leather upgrade just for non-red stitching and then swap the covers out for something else. Maybe I can be happy with the saddle to avoid the hassle.

I'm looking at ordering a Rubicon and know that I don't want the red stitching on the interior. Obviously, I can replace the seats with Katskinz or something similar, but that still leaves the two shift boots and the steering wheel with red stitching. What are my options for replacing these...

It's a different paint code. 2016 Plum Crazy was PHG. Reign is PHT.

I have a feeling you're right. I want something new, but not something super common. Unfortunately, my wife is sold on Earl and really doesn't want Reign.

It's crazy to think that the first Earl Gladiators won't hit lots until 18+ months after it was announced. I'll most likely order Earl, but I'm curious if any additional colors will be offered. I hope Friday doesn't come and go without any news.
